The destiny of the “Christians” who will remain on earth after the Rapture of the Church

Question:

What will be the destiny of the Christians who deceive themselves and who will remain on earth after the Rapture of the Church?

Christians who will not be found ready for the Coming of Jesus, that is, those who are not born again, will have upon them all the plagues written in the book of Revelation. However they will still have a chance to be saved, a chance for which they will have to pay with the price of their lives. During the activity of the Antichrist, all the people who dwell on the earth will be required to receive the mark of the Antichrist (or beast) on their forehead or right hand (without which they can not buy and sell anything) and worship the beast. Whoever opposes and will not want to receive this mark and worship the beast will be killed. After the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus on earth, those who had been victorious over the beast, that is, those who chose to be murdered rather than to worship the beast, will be judged, will be raised and reign with Christ for a thousand years:

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4)

They will have new bodies, they will reign with Christ for a thousand years, but they will not be part of the Church, the Bride of the Lamb, for at that time, the Lamb’s wedding will already be announced and the Bride will be prepared (before the Second Coming of Jesus on earth for the Kingdom of a thousand years).

Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are true words of God.” Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:7-16)

But if they won’t be ready to pay the price (they will not refuse to worship the beast), their fate will be the fate of the unbelievers!

But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)

I think that it is a dangerous game for those who postpone the repentance and play “the faith”: first of all, you do not know what is the number of days that God ordained for you, and secondly, I do not think it will be easier to deal with the outward pressures (the plagues following the Rapture of the Church) if you can not cope with the pressures which are inside you now! Tomorrow is not in your hands! If you have not entered the Lord’s rest, accepting the Lord Jesus, not just as the Savior, but also as the Lord of your life, do it today, because tomorrow may be too late!

For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard, God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will. (Hebrews 2:1-4)

…and again:

Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it. For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard. (Hebrews 4:1-2)

Therefore, do not comfort yourself with the thought that God is a God who offers new chances! It could happen that a new chance costs you too much or you may not have another chance! Those of the people of Israel who came out of the bondage of Egypt by faith but did not want to enter the promised land by faith, did not have the chance to enter this country. God did not give them that chance, but swore in His wrath that they would not enter into His rest, and their dead bodies remain in the wilderness!

Yet you were not willing to go up (in the promised land), but rebelled against the command of the Lord your God; and you grumbled in your tents and said, ‘Because the Lord hates us, He has brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us. Where can we go up? Our brethren have made our hearts melt, saying, “The people are bigger and taller than we; the cities are large and fortified to heaven. And besides, we saw the sons of the Anakim there.”’ Then I said to you, ‘Do not be shocked, nor fear them. The Lord your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf, just as He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, just as a man carries his son, in all the way which you have walked until you came to this place.’ But for all this, you did not trust the Lord your God, who goes before you on your way, to seek out a place for you to encamp, in fire by night and cloud by day, to show you the way in which you should go. “Then the Lord heard the sound of your words, and He was angry and took an oath, saying, ‘Not one of these men, this evil generation, shall see the good land which I swore to give your fathers, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him and to his sons I will give the land on which he has set foot, because he has followed the Lord fully.’ (Deuteronomy 1:26-36)
