About the desire to become a Christian writer

QUESTION:

I always wanted to become a writer, to write about God. I am Orthodox, but I wish from my heart to accept Christ. Is it a gift (to write) or not? I asked more people. They told me that I must not be a writer of the Word of God and I do not know what to believe. I hope you can clarify and give me an answer. What does the Bible say?

If God puts it on your heart the desire to become a writer, then I believe that He will also help it to become a reality. But the first thing you have to do is enter the New Covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ and make the decision to live in full obedience of His Word, as it is written in the Bible. Until one does not make this decision, he can not receive forgiveness of sins nor the Holy Spirit, and those who do not have the Holy Spirit are not Christ’s, so he is not a true Christian.Yes, he or she can call himself/herself a Christian, but they are not, because they lack the essence of what a  Christian is, and they are not born again and do not have the Holy Spirit. It’s written:

However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (Romans 8:9) (NASB)

When a person believes with all heart in the Lord Jesus Christ and enters into the New Covenant with Him, then with the Holy Spirit, he also receives spiritual gifts, which are divided into gifts of speech and gifts of serving. Those who have speech gifts must preach the Word of God and teach others, and this is done also by writing. Here I am  doing this and doing it in writing so I can communicate remotely through this article. If you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Spirit, then you will know what gift God will give you, and you will have to hurry to serve Him with the gift you have received and do so all your life. May God help you do it.
