Why some can not get out of the sin of masturbation?

I’m a boy and I struggle with masturbation that I have been practicing for a long time. I am from an orphanage and there I was forced to have sex with several boys.Since then I struggle not to do it, but while I watch pornographic movies I masturbate.Why so? Why? Please help me.

It is sad to hear what you have been subjected to and how badly it affected you. But, God has healing for the heart of every man and He can heal your heart if you come to Him wholeheartedly.

Watching pornography is immorality

You will not be able to be released from the sin of masturbation or from others like this one until you stop watching pornography.Watching pornographic images is a sin like other sexual sins, because by pornography man poisons his mind and then he can not refrain from doing these sins.Lord Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount as follows:

You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell. (Matthew 5:27-30)(NASB)

See, to look at a woman with lust for her is just as you commit adultery with her in your heart.Therefore, a man must learn to control his thoughts and not be subject to images or other things which cause sinful sexual thoughts.

Make a covenant with your eyes

Job was a very righteous man, and in the book that bears his name, he shared his secret to overcome sexual temptation:

I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I gaze at a virgin?  (Job 31:1)(NASB)

You urgently need to stop watching pornography and other things that poison your mind so that you can be released from the sin of masturbation.
