Question:
I am baptized in water in a pentecostal church, but I do not have not the Holy Spirit. I have several dilemmas including the following – if a young person like me is baptized, but committed fornication with a girl, does he have any chance to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?
Even if you were baptized in water, the fact that you do not have the Holy Spirit is the proof that you are not saved and you do not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The Scripture says:
However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (Romans 8:9)(NASB)
I do not know what your motivation was when you were baptized, but it is obviously that it was not a result of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that means the receiving of the Holy Spirit after one enters the New Covenant of the Lord Jesus Christ. The state that you live now does not distinguish from the state of any other sinner that goes to destruction. But, again, like any other sinner you have all chances to be saved, only believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. You have to be born again. Wholeheartedly repent, ask God to forgive your sins and ask Lord Jesus to come into your heart and life, to give you salvation and the Holy Spirit and thus be saved. May God help you to do this.
