The Bible for athletes and coaches

As member of the PSP (Proclamation by Sports People) of the International Sports Coalition, during the last Skype conference I found out from Barry Spofford, the international Director of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, that they had printed in their organization a special edition of the Bible for athletes and coaches. I asked him to send me one copy of each and I have received them very shortly after this.

In addition to the full text of the Old and New Testaments (Holan Christian Standard Bible translation), the athlete’s Bible contains a study for all 365 days of the year and other materials particularly useful for athletes. Lessons have been written by various athletes and teachers of the Bible.

The coach’s Bible is smaller, it has leather covers, but it is made according to the same concept, using the same version and it contains special Bible study for coaches written by some of the most experienced and well-known Christian coaches in the world.
