Please comment in the light of the Bible the proverb which says: “The fated will happen.”
This is a popular saying which is said on good or bad things that happen to us and do not depend on our choice. Therefore, no one chooses to be sick of cancer, but if someday he is told that he was diagnosed with this disease, he can hear or he himself can say: “The fated will happen.”
It is true that people use this saying when they speak about things that happen in their life by their choice. If you want to know what the Bible says about destiny, I invite you to read the following articles written before:
- What does the Bible say about fate?
- Who determines destiny, man or God?
- How has God decided beforehand who will be saved and who not? (Romans 8:29-30)
How does the reader understand this popular proverb?
