How to understand that the fated will happen?

Question:

Please comment in the light of the Bible the proverb which says: “The fated will happen.”

This is a popular saying which is said on good or bad things that happen to us and do not depend on our choice. Therefore, no one chooses to be sick of cancer, but if someday he is told that he was diagnosed with this disease, he can hear or he himself can say: “The fated will happen.”
