A sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ in every place

In the second Epistle to Corinthians, Apostle Paul wrote about himself and about the team he was working with to share the Gospel:

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life And who is adequate for these things? (2 Corinthians 2:14–16)(NASB)

Each of us are called to be so, a sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ in every place.

While we were registering at the airport from the city Chattanooga from USA to fly home, we were witnesses to the following:

Not far away a young woman was talking with the woman who was registering and suddenly the young woman began to cry. The lady from the registration came to that girl, hugged her and then she began to pray with her.

I was so astonished that I began to cry with joy for the beautiful way how this lady showed the love of the Lord Jesus Christ in that circumstance. The man who was in charge of our tickets noticed my astonishment and asked me what unusual I had seen. I told him that I had never seen that anywhere in the world, even if I had travelled in many Christians countries. He told me that that was something usual for their airport.

That lady who prayed was Kathleen Bladen, who had helped us as well when we were on our way home back from the surgery, and we had had a very comfortable trip.

We approached her to thank her once again, and she was very glad to see us again. After she asked us how we felt, I was curious to find out why that young woman was crying and I found out that she had a difficult day at college, and when she came to take the airplane, she found out she didn’t have the necessary ticket and she began to cry. Kathleen prayed for her, encouraged her from the Word of God and helped her.

I pray that we may see such an attitude soon in Moldova at the airport, at the train station, in hospitals, everywhere. God help all those who call themselves Christians, that have the name of Christ, to be a sweet aroma of His knowledge everywhere.

When I asked Kathleen what she wanted us to pray for, she said that Delta aerial company fuses with Northwest company, and many coworkers will be dismissed. Pray with us for Kathleen to remain working here and to receive a position to be able to tell many people about our Lord Jesus Christ.
