What is the fate of the ministers that perform same-sex marriages?

Question:

What will happen to the ministers that perform same sex couples?

We live in perilous times, when more and more denominations and their ministers leave their faith and accept the sin of sodomy as a normal and acceptable thing. According to a statement quoted by the newspaper The Independent, U.S. Navy troops will allow priests to perform same-sex marriages, even within military bases, although some congressmen have protested, saying this permitting violates the federal law. It also happened in Romania, when a fornicator, who claimed to be an Orthodox priest went to a nightclub where he dishonored the marriage sacrament instituted by God, performing the marriage of two gays for a payment of 150 Euro. Constantin Stoica, the spokesman of the Romanian Orthodox Church, declared his opinion on this case:

Homosexuality is definitely condemned in the Word of God and the priests who officiate such “marriages” are wicked people. Since the first centuries of the early Christian Church there were such pseudo-priests or pseudo-ministers of the Church. St. Jude wrote about them in his epistle when he said:

Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that youcontend earnestly forthe faith which was once for allhanded down tothesaints. For certain persons havecrept in unnoticed, those who were long before handmarked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turnthe grace of our God into licentiousness anddeny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:3-4)(NASB)

As to alert them about the punishment that those immoral people would have (take heed that it is written that they are homosexual, too) from God, St. Jude wrote:

Just asSodom and Gomorrah and thecities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality andwent after strange flesh, are exhibited as anexample in undergoing thepunishment of eternal fire. Yet in the same way these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revileangelic majesties.(Jude 1:7-8)(NASB)

St. Jude adds the following about their judgment:

It was also about these men that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came withmany thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things whichungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 1:14-15)(NASB)

The priests who perform gay “marriages” fall into the same category of people about whom the Lord Jesus spoke in the Sermon on the Mount and will suffer the same fate:

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me onthat day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you;DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ (Matthew 7:15-23)(NASB)

Let us follow the advice and command of the Savior and beware of such priests.
