God is omniscient, but Jesus wasn’t so. In the Gospel of Mark 13:32 Jesus said:”But of that day and that hour know no man, neither the angels which are in heaven nor the Son, but the Father. Does Jesus know when the hour will come or not ?
God names His Son Jesus Christ „God”
It is true that Jesus said that He didn’t know the day and the hour of His coming, but this statement doesn’t cancel the basic truth of The Holy Scriptures which presents the Lord Jesus as God. God Himself addresses the Lord Jesus Christ calling Him”God” and this is written in the Epistle of Hebrews:
And of the angels He says, “WHO MAKES HIS ANGELS WINDS, AND HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE. But of the Son He says, “YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM. YOU HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD, HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS.” (Hebrews 1:7-9)(NASB)
Another argument of „unbelief”
The atheists have liked and like to motivate their unbelief with this kind of arguments: Can God make a stone which He Himself can’t lift? If He can, then He isn’t omnipotent because He can’t lift it, but if He can’t make this kind of stone, then He is not omnipotent as well, because He can not create it. It is a kind of trap which is invented by atheists for catching others in their unbelief.
We have to avoid any traps of unbelief and believe the Word of God to save our souls and inherit the Kingdom of God.
