Are the children of Baptists part of the Baptist Church?

Question:

Are the children of Baptists, who can not understand the truth, part of the Baptist Church? But of the real one, which is the only one, without so many names? If so, on what basis? Because as you say, only those who obey the Scriptures are part of the Church.

No, children of the Baptists are not part of the Baptist Church of Christ, just because they were born or raised in a family of Baptists. They become part of the Church of Christ when they receive the truth of the Gospel in their hearts, believe in Jesus Christ and are born again, when they enter the New Covenant with Jesus Christ and prove it by holy baptism with water.

When careful reading the Book of Acts, you will see that only those who received the message of the Gospel and were baptized, became members of the Church of Christ. Here’s an example:

So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. (Acts 2:41)(NASB)

However, the children of Baptists have a great privilege to be taught the truth of Holy Scripture and to see this truth lived by their parents, if they are truly born again people and not just Christians in name, because the Baptists, as in any other religion, there can be Christians in name only. Only that in the Baptist Church, when it is identified, that someone identifies himself with the beautiful name of a Christian, but lives in sin, the church discipline is applied to this person, and if he/she does not truly repents and persists in sin, then is given apart from the Church of Christ, as Paul taught when he said:

I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-calledbrother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler–not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES. (1 Corinthians 5:9-13)(NASB)

Any Christian denomination that follows the sound doctrine of Jesus Christ left on the pages of Holy Scripture, will apply this rule to Christians who worship God in that confession. No religion has the monopoly on the Church of Christ, but those who are in the New Covenant with Jesus, who were born again and live in obedience to the sound doctrine of the Savior left on the pages of the Holy Scriptures have the privilege to be part of it.
