The civic association “Precepts from God’s Word – Precept Ministries Moldova” has launched an International Media School this year in Chisinau with the purpsoe of equipping Christians with the most advanced informational technologies for proclaiming the Gospel via the mass media.
The program is designed to last for two months each summer over a three year period. The teaching will be done in three languages: Romanian, Russian, and English. The first phase will run from June 26 to August 26, 2013 and includes the following subjects:
- Social media Journalism
- Blogging
- Photo Journalism
- Basic Video production
- Sounds publishing
- Google products
Participants of the school must meet the following criteria: Christians who are 16 years of age or older, a person who has been born again, a person who has received New Testament baptism, a person who is an active member of a local church, and a person who desires to use the tool of mass-media to proclaim the Gospel.
The total cost to study at the International Media School per student, per phase (2 months during the summer) is $1,500 (US dollars). For those who cannot afford the total price, there is an opportunity to apply for scholarships offered by the Media School.
