I assume you know about the festival organized by the organization Gender Doc-M each spring. Unlike in previous years, this is the first time that gays and lesbians will be allowed to organize a parade for the festival since the controversial law was passed about equality. What is the right way as Christians to respond to these actions without giving free publicity to the homosexual propaganda machine?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yes, of course I know. Who does not know? I am surprised that the politicians who voted for the law did not know the specific implications of this law, and now they are shocked by the consequences of this law in its current form. Once the law was passed, those satellite organizations affiliated with Gender Doc-M\u00a0 (which are made up of the same hand full of people \u2026) were allowed to enter the\u00a0 public school system and\u00a0 begin teaching\u00a0 students about \u201cdiscrimination\u201d against gays and lesbians and then insisting on accepting these practices, even though these practices are defined by God as sinful, immoral, and dangerous to the victims who make up the society at large. Like any addiction it is learned and then once accepted by the mind, is tried out of curiosity, and then you are enslaved by it. This is the dirty little secret of the gay lifestyle. But, unfortunately, there is more \u2026 All addictions are very deceptive to people because they cause\u00a0 them to believe that they can stop any moment. I was listening to the radio yesterday to a powerful testimony of a woman who took drugs\u00a0 and thought that she could stop any time she wanted.\u00a0 The problem was, she was only deceiving herself. In reality, she was totally enslaved to this addiction. Homosexuality is the same way.<\/p>\n

\"\"I remember the hypocrisy of some of the politicians when this law was passed. Most of them acted as if they were terrified of possible consequences of voting against this legislation yet saying that they would not vote,\u00a0 even criticized this law, ensuring the citizens that they would never vote for such a law in Moldova. Others posted on their sites their party\u2019s official promises that they would never vote for such a law. Unfortunately, in the end, they voted for the law and then\u00a0 talked down to the citizens cynically saying that this law is the requirement of the EU and if they were not to vote for it then we would have no chance of being accepted in the EU in the future. How did the people respond? They were upset for just a few weeks. Does this mean that God will not intervene? There is an old proverb that claims, \u201cGod does not strike with a stick\u201d instead the Scriptures teach us the following:<\/p>\n

\n

21 For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the LORD, And He watches all his paths. 22 His own iniquities will capture the wicked, And he will be held with the cords of his sin. 23 He will die for lack of instruction, And in the greatness of his folly he will go astray. (Proverbs 5)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I wonder why Good Friday was the chosen day to vote for and pass all of these laws and also, why all of those who spoke out against the nondiscrimination law do not bother to offer any alternative proposals during this time? This seems to me like a clear case of political manipulation.<\/p>\n

Alas, I want to return to the question which was, what are Christians to do now? I think we should organize a week of promoting family values in all of the churches. Each day, lessons should be taught about family from a Biblical perspective. As believers, we need to be unified in promoting and living out family values. We must inform the public about the clear teachings of Scripture on the subjects of homosexuality, immorality, the role of the family in society etc. The main reason for speaking of these things is to lead people to the Good News of Jesus Christ, that He died to pay for our sins and rose again to set us free.<\/p>\n

Given the troubled political context of the country, I fear that the gays are trying to provoke violence with their public manifestations. Some organizations have already hinted at this through the statements they have made on the Internet. It is the duty of Christians to disassociate from anyone promoting violence. This is totally contrary to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Please do not look at the matter then ignore reality. We need to talk about and to do everything in our power to lead all people to Christ, including those in the gay and lesbian community. If you know gay people, it is important, constantly to tell them that there is hope for their freedom from this addiction of homosexuality, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever and that He can cleanse them and give them a new life. He already did so for those who lived in the city of Corinth, which is recorded for us in the Bible:<\/p>\n

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit Gods kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality, 10 no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit Gods kingdom. 11 And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified<\/strong> in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (I Corinthians 6)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
