I would like to ask your opinion on a subject that has been bothering me for a while now. How can I figure our God\u2019s will on the subject of dating? I know that I should not date nonbelievers but what about a young man who has fallen away from the faith, how do I handle this situation? How should believers treat that person? I have been praying for this young man for 5 years now, that God would save him and that he would return to the church and faith. I am yet to see any positive results. What should I do? I need your advice. Thank you.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Every good Christian girl needs to be very careful when it comes to relationships with the opposite sex so that the teachings of Jesus Christ that she claims to follow will not be spoken evil of by the world. For this very reason, it is wise that she not date at all<\/a>. It is true what you say that a Christian girl should never even entertain the thought of marrying a nonbeliever because this practice is categorically forbidden in the Word of God. A good Christian can only marry \u201cin the Lord\u201c. As far as the young man who was once a member of a church and has been excluded, the church needs to apply church discipline as the Scriptures teach and he is to be delivered over into the hands of Satan. This means that neither you nor any other church member should have anything to do with this young man. You are not to have any form of communication with him. A similar thing happened in the church of Corinth during the days of the Apostle Paul. A man got to the point where he was living with and having sexual relations with his step-mother. Paul along with the other believers in the church condemned this act as the Scriptures teach and delivered this man to the hands of Satan.<\/p>\n

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people ; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler -not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders ? Do you not judge those who are within the church? But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES .
