The Word of God says very clearly:<\/p>\n

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but befilled with the Spirit. (Ephesians 5:18)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And let no one say that if only the wine is mentioned here, then it refers only to getting drunk with wine. It refers to getting drunk with any other kinds of alcoholic beverages, including beer. Another biblical text says:<\/p>\n

\n

But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard<\/strong>, or a swindler\u2014not even to eat with such a one. (1 Corinthians 5:11)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If you say that you were previously used to drinking alcoholic beer, because you had this custom, it is better for you to stay away from non-alcoholic beer, which can draw you back again to the usual beer that you were previously accustomed to.<\/p>\n

Then, there is another reason why it is not good to consume this beer. Be sure that you will not be able to explain to those around you that the beer you drink is non-alcoholic. Thus, you will become a stumble block and an occasion of temptation for others who had similar problems and have been addicted to drink alcohol before becoming Christians. In this regard the Apostle Paul said:<\/p>\n

\n

So then we pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. Do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are clean, but they are evil for the man who eats and gives offense. It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything<\/em> by which your brother stumbles. (Romans 14:19-21)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
