\nI have a question that troubles me very much: if I knew a girl who was married and left the country without her husband and there she met another man, and I didn\u2019t say anything to anyone and that girl went too far and slept with that man and that led to divorce from her husband. Well, is it a sin for me, too?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Yes, it is sin and it is a great one. You have to intervene and do as the Scripture teaches us.<\/p>\n
\nIf your brother sins<\/sup>, go and <\/sup>show him his fault <\/sup>in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he does not listen to you<\/i>, take one or two more with you, so that <\/sup>BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY <\/sup>FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. If he refuses to listen to them, <\/sup>tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church,<\/sup>let him be to you as <\/sup>a Gentile and <\/sup>a tax collector. (Matthew 18:15-17)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
You had to go to confront her when you found out that she had begun to flirt with that man. If she had listened to you, you would have saved that woman from the sin in which she had fallen and would have saved their marriage. If she hadn\u2019t listened, you had to go and tell her husband and he could do something to stop that evil. Now I realize that you can not do anything, in view of how far things got on. Anyway, maybe anything else could be done? Then do it! I think it\u2019s fair to go to that woman and admit that you have sinned against her, too, when you knew and didn\u2019t come to confront her. Maybe now it\u2019s good to urge her to repent of the sin in which she lives, to go and ask forgiveness from her husband and rebuild her family.<\/p>\n
God help you to learn from this situation and never let your brother or sister fall into sin without confronting him \/her immediately.<\/p>\n
