Now there was a man named Simon, who formerly was practicing magic in the city and astonishing the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great<\/strong>. (Acts 8:9)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The New Testament was written in Greek and the English word \u201cgreat\u201d is the Greek word MEGAS, meaning something great, important, significant. So, this pagan magician Simon said about himself that he was a great, important man.<\/p>\n
