In the book of Leviticus God says:<\/p>\n
\nYou shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
And He also says:<\/p>\n
\nIf there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
As you see, homosexuality is a very serious sin, since God called it an abomination and it had to be punished with death, so that it may not not be spread.<\/p>\n
Homosexuality is not love but a degrading passion <\/h4>\n
Passion is a burning and uncontrolled desire to do something bad. How can you say that a woman loves, if she leaves her husband and goes to satisfy her sexual lust with other men, without worrying about her spouse, children, parents and other people? Understand this distinction well and no longer call passion “love”, because it is not. Love thinks of her neighbor and sacrifices herself, looking for the neighbor\u2019s supreme good. When he wanted to describe the sinful condition of mankind, the Apostle Paul presented homosexuality as the culmination of the sin and he wrote:<\/p>\n
\nTherefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts<\/strong> to impurity<\/strong>, so that their bodies would be dishonored<\/strong> among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions<\/strong>; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts<\/strong> and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.<\/strong> And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer,<\/sup>God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.<\/strong> (Romans 1:24-28)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
See, what you call “the soul desires for a man” God says that “the men exchanged the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire for one another” and “men with men committing indecent acts.”<\/p>\n
Homosexuality is against God\u2019s will<\/h4>\n
Do not try to call “love” the degrading passion to say that God accepts homosexuality. Wherever you find references to homosexuality in the Bible you will see that God categorically condemns it and He also says:<\/p>\n
\nWoe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
God is the creator of man and his sexuality and His will for man is that he may have sexual relations only with his wife in marriage. Even at the creation, when He brought the woman to man, God said:<\/p>\n
\nFor this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife<\/strong>; and they shall become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The term “be joined” refers directly to the sexual relationship, and, as you can see, it is permitted only within marriage.\u00a0 Any other sexual activity outside marriage is categorically condemned by God and everyone will give an account of\u00a0 his\/her sexual activity at the judgment of God.<\/p>\n
No homosexual will inherit the kingdom of God<\/h4>\n
The Apostle Paul wrote in I Corinthians:<\/p>\n
\nOr do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate<\/strong>, nor homosexuals<\/strong>, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Effeminate were men who were prostituting with homosexuals, who are also called sodomites, after the city Sodom, which was destroyed by God with fire and brimstone from heaven, just because they practiced homosexuality and all sorts of sexual immorality. Fornicators and adulterers will have the same fate as effeminates and homosexuals, and this includes everyone who practices sex outside marriage. Let no one be deceived and believe that God changes His principles according to the fashion. He is the same yesterday, today and forever and His Word (The Bible) will be fulfilled exactly, as it happened from the creation of the world until now.<\/p>\n
God is ready to forgive and to free homosexuals from their passion<\/h4>\n
The text from 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 highlights a very important thing\u00a0 \u2013 among the Christians of the church from Corinth there were men who had been effeminates and homosexuals. There have been, but no longer are. Because they believed in Jesus Christ and have definitely left their degrading passion. Through faith in Jesus Christ they were washed, were sanctified and were justified. The same transformation God does nowadays with anyone who comes to Him wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n
If you are a gay or a lesbian, be honest with yourself and admit that homosexuality is an abomination and a degrading passion. Do not try to convince people and yourself that you were born this way. Admit that you were exposed to immoral practices, sexual seduction and propaganda of the people who live in the mire of sexual immorality. Believe wholeheartedly that Jesus can transform you. Hurry to enter the New Covenant with Him to be cleansed, sanctified and justified in the name of Jesus Christ and through the Spirit of our God.<\/p>\n
