After publishing the article “Are Baptist children part of the Baptist Church?<\/a>” I got this question:<\/p>\n

\n

The <\/em>children of Baptist do not belong to the church, meaning they are not saved.<\/em> But still, if you can give a more concrete explanation because there are only two ways: with God or against God.<\/em> If they do not belong to the visible Baptist church, then what do you do, do you leave them to the devil?<\/em> Because there is no neutral way.<\/em> How does a Baptist look like who wants his children to go the way of salvation?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Baptists\u2019 children become church members only after they are baptized based on their personal faith in Lord Jesus after entering the New Covenant. Baptists are very much concerned about the salvation of their children and this is what they do in this regard.<\/p>\n

Baptists bless their children according to the Word of God<\/h4>\n

God gave the following commandment in the Bible:<\/p>\n

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, \u2018Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them: The LORD bless you, and keep you; The LORD make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace.\u2019 So they shall invoke My name on the sons of Israel, and I then will bless them.” (Numbers 6:22-27)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Right according to this word of God, Baptists bring their babies to church, where the pastor with the whole Church bless the baby saying exactly this blessing given by God. In this way, they invoke the name of God on their children and God blesses them.<\/p>\n

Baptists teach their children God\u2019s Word<\/h4>\n

With very few exceptions, in any Baptist church in Moldova and in other countries one will necessarily find the Sunday School where children learn from the Scriptures. Then, the Baptists are studying or at least read the Bible daily in their families and so, their children learn the way of salvation and then choose to follow it. Baptists do to their children as they are taught in the Scriptures when he says:<\/p>\n

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Moreover, if you go to schools and enter the classes where there are children of Baptists, you\u2019ll see that in most cases they are appreciated by teachers for flawless behavior, that it is just a result of studying the Holy Scriptures in the family and of the example that they see at their Christian parents.<\/p>\n

Both parents and the Baptist Church do their best so that the children of Baptists may know well the Way of Salvation and be saved.<\/p>\n

But I invite the children of Baptists to write what the church and their parents did for their salvation and thus provide a wider perspective for the questioner and to all who read this article.<\/p>\n
