I was deeply saddened when I heard the news that the nation I am a part of is the most addicted to drinking in the world<\/a>. The prestigious British publication \u201cThe Economist\u201d has published details about the World Health Organization report that says that Moldovans are the largest consumers of alcohol in the world. The amount consumed by them amounted to 18.2 liters per person per year. The highest level of morbidity due to alcohol from men is certified in Russia \u2013 16%. The next is Moldova \u2013 14% and Romania \u2013 5%. Here is a map that gives an overview of alcohol consumption in the world \u2026<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

If we still talk tall that we are a Christian nation, then we should realize that God is very firmly and says that drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of God:<\/p>\n

\n

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?<\/strong> Do not be deceived;<\/strong> neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor<\/strong> drunkards,<\/strong> nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. <\/strong>(1 Corinthians 6:9-10)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Or maybe some calm themselves thinking that they will enter the kingdom of heaven because they were baptized when being little and they take part in Holy Communion? No way! God says that all those who are drunkards and claim to be Christians should be immediately excommunicated from the Church, so that they may not deceive themselves. The Holy Scripture says:<\/p>\n

\n

Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For\u00a0 our Passover also has been sacrificed. Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is<\/strong> an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard<\/strong>, or a swindler\u2013not even to eat with such a one<\/strong>. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church?<\/strong> But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES<\/strong>.
