I watched a debate on TVR about the existence or not of ghosts\/spirits of those who have passed away and who for various reasons return among us \u2026 What do you think about this, might it be true?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yes, it is true and the Bible tells us it, but not about ghosts, but it says that the BODIES of many saints were resurrected after the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified.<\/p>\n

\n

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split. The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had<\/sup>fallen asleep were raised<\/strong>; and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered<\/sup>the holy city and appeared to many. (Matthew 27:50-53)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At the same time I want to draw your attention to the practice of calling the spirits of the dead, which is absolutely forbidden by God:<\/p>\n

\n

\u2018Do not turn to mediums or spiritists<\/strong>; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God. (Leviticus 19:31)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And it adds:<\/p>\n

\n

As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists<\/strong>, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people. (Leviticus 20:6)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To understand how grave this sin was before God, I will quote the following passage:<\/p>\n

\n

\u2018Now a man or a woman who is a medium or a spiritist<\/strong> shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones, their bloodguiltiness is upon them.\u2019 (Leviticus 20:27)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Let us beware of any pagan and evil practice and be holy in our behavior, because our God is Holy.<\/p>\n
