I\u2019m from Romania and I am\u00a0a Christian. <\/em><\/span>I truly believe in the power of God and I try to pray\u00a0every day.<\/em><\/span> I am a sinful woman and although I am already old,\u00a0I have many sins: I argued with my parents, I hated my mother-in-law and my brothers-in-law, I stole, etc. Now, my husband, whom I\u00a0love with all my heart is gone\u00a0to Afghanistan for a while and I am very afraid for his life.<\/em><\/span> I want to know a few prayers that I could say to help him come back alive and healthy\u00a0or anything else I can do.<\/em><\/span> I pray everyday and I just\u00a0want him\u00a0return home safely.<\/em><\/span>\u00a0I do not know many prayers, but I read\u00a0talisman and few prayers that I\u00a0know and then I pray with my words.<\/em><\/span> Can you help me with something, even a prayer said for my husband.<\/em><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

You must be born again<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

I am glad to know that you love God and that you want to please Him in everything.<\/span> It\u2019s good\u00a0that you understand the\u00a0seriousness of your past sins, but it is not enough.<\/span>\u00a0You must be born again to become a true Christian and be able\u00a0to enter the kingdom of God.<\/span> When Nicodemus came to Jesus by night, the Savior told him:<\/span> <\/p>\n

Jesus answered and said to him, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.\u201d<\/span> (John 3:3)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

You must wholeheartedly believe in Jesus and decide to listen to Him fully in everything,\u00a0doing only what is written in Scripture (the Bible).<\/span> When you make this\u00a0firm decision, get\u00a0on your knees and pray.<\/span> I\u00a0<\/span>give\u00a0a model of prayer below:<\/span> <\/p>\n

Holy and\u00a0Almighty God, I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and thank you that You love me,\u00a0that You gave me life and\u00a0You have kept it until today.<\/em><\/span>\u00a0I thank You that in\u00a0Your love for me You sacrificed\u00a0Your Son on the\u00a0cross, the Lord Jesus Christ, so that through\u00a0this sacrifice I may\u00a0receive forgiveness of sins.<\/em><\/span> Please, forgive all my sins and receive me to become Your child.<\/em><\/span> I enter in the New Covenant with You today.<\/em><\/span> Please, give me your Holy Spirit and help me to live in complete obedience to Thee for the rest of my life, and then to accept me\u00a0in Your eternal kingdom.<\/em><\/span> Be praised forever and ever. <\/em><\/span>Amen.<\/em><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After you pray this way and\u00a0enter the New Covenant, your sins will be\u00a0forgiven, and it is important to discipline yourself to study the Bible daily, pray daily and find a church where the\u00a0Bible is preached and studied and where people live according to what is written in the Bible.<\/span>\u00a0It is important to\u00a0go to ask forgiveness from those whom you have offended.<\/span>\u00a0And when you do this, tell them about the decision you took to enter\u00a0into the New Covenant and to follow the Lord with all obedience and with your whole heart.<\/span>\u00a0To study the Bible deeply and interesting I recommend you to contact the Precept Ministries Association to buy exceptional inductive Bible study materials.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Do not read the talisman<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Talismans are\u00a0things that upset the face of God, because they are a kind of idol that people trust more than\u00a0God. <\/span>You must destroy that talisman\u00a0so that it may never be a\u00a0challenge to idolatry for anyone.<\/span>\u00a0God says such things should not be even mentioned\u00a0in the midst of the\u00a0Christians.<\/span> <\/p>\n

What can you do for\u00a0your husband?<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Always pray with faith that God will protect him.<\/span> The way you pray, with your own\u00a0words it is very good.<\/span> When we pray, our faith matters the most to\u00a0God.<\/span> Then, as you study the Bible, pray with the words and truths learned from the Bible.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Because\u00a0your husband is in a dangerous situation, it\u00a0will be very good to fast for him a\u00a0full day, with a total fast, not to eat or drink anything.<\/span> <\/p>\n

You have done well when you\u00a0advised me to pray for your husband. Right now I stopped writing this post and I prayed for him that God would keep him from evil people, dangerous circumstances and evil influences\u00a0and bring him home healthy and happy.<\/span>\u00a0I prayed for his salvation and if he\u00a0has not yet entered into the New Covenant with Jesus, to do it\u00a0as soon as possible to be born again and have the gift of eternal life.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Just as you have written me to pray,\u00a0tell in the church to pray for your husband,\u00a0ask your\u00a0relatives, friends and all those who love him and will want to pray for your husband.<\/span> <\/p>\n

If your husband does not have\u00a0a Bible, look for an opportunity to send him one, so that he may study it as well.<\/span> Thus, he will learn how to pray and\u00a0through God\u2019s word he will receive much comfort, encouragement and protection.<\/span> <\/p>\n
