After publishing the article \u201cIs there forgiveness for a girl who fell into the sin of fornication?\u201d<\/a> I received the following question:<\/span><\/p>\n

And if she repeats this sin again and again, what should we do with her?<\/em><\/span> Or rather, how many times does the Lord Jesus allow her to commit the sin of fornication\u2026?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Lord Jesus does not allow anyone to commit the sin of fornication or another sin.<\/span> He sacrificed Himself for our sins and calls us to live in holiness.<\/span> The great truth about living in righteousness is \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

The born again does not live in sin<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a big difference between the person who sinned once and the one who lives in sin.<\/span> To repeat it again and again means to have a sinful lifestyle and this is a strange thing to a true Christian\u2019s life and identity.<\/span> And true Christian is not the one who calls himself so, or who thinks this about himself because he was born of Christian parents.<\/span> True Christian is one who wholeheartedly believed in Jesus Christ, repented, received forgiveness for his sins and was born again by receiving the Holy Spirit.<\/span> The Apostle John wrote the following profound and important truths about the difference between born-again Christians and those who just think they are \u201cChristians\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.<\/strong> Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins<\/strong>; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. <\/strong>By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:1-10)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I want to draw attention to some important truths about the true (born again) Christian\u2019s attitude towards sin:<\/span><\/p>\n
