There are Christians who prefer card games.<\/span> Is this normal?<\/span> Is it a sin?<\/span> What can it lead to?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Bible does not mention about playing cards because they\u00a0appeared\u00a0much later and it is mentioned that for the first time\u00a0they\u00a0existed in England\u00a0in the thirteenth century.<\/span><\/p>\n

In childhood and up to the time when I knew the Lord Jesus Christ\u00a0I used to\u00a0play card games and I noticed that there are two kind of games.<\/span> The first games were simple and fun, I remember when in\u00a0summer, after we\u00a0worked on the field, while we rested at noon,\u00a0we used to play\u00a0those games.<\/span> But very soon we, boys,\u00a0learned from the adults\u00a0another\u00a0game called \u201cSeca\u201d, and it was\u00a0for money.<\/span> This game caught\u00a0some of my friends and they could not finish school and had heavy consequences for their whole life.<\/span> Playing cards is a gamble and I discussed this issue extensively in the article \u201cThe Truth About Gambling\u201d<\/a> and I\u00a0invite you to read it.<\/span><\/p>\n
