I am married for eight years and have a baby.<\/span> During the entire marriage I\u00a0turned my\u00a0husband\u2019s life into a hell, I humiliated and\u00a0 insulted him and his parents as I could.<\/span> He has loved me for all these years, but now I feel he\u00a0is remote, I suspect him for all possible sins and I die in pain since I\u00a0realize how much I was wrong.<\/span> I apologized, but I fear that is not enough.<\/span> I have suicidal thoughts.<\/span> He tells me he loves me but I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0believe him, how can he love me?<\/span> I do not know what to do, I can not concentrate, can not do anything, I feel like losing my mind.<\/span> I can not live without him, he was the only man in my life.<\/span> It destroys me when I think that\u00a0my child will remain without a father because of me, and\u00a0I have destroyed their lives.<\/span> I always think at death and I know that\u00a0it is a great sin, but I need help.<\/span> My parents are wealthy,\u00a0they bought us the apartment and everything we need, but I have always reminded him\u00a0that his parents\u00a0did not help us and\u00a0were definitely against our marriage.<\/span> After our engagement, being a virgin at 23 years, I have sinned with him and the wedding took place faster than it was planned.<\/span> When I told him that I was pregnant he\u00a0wanted me to miscarry, because he was scared of his parents,\u00a0although we were engaged.<\/span> I refused and I gave birth to\u00a0an adorable child, but I always reminded him\u00a0the idea of abortion.<\/span> He deeply loves the child, whom we named Christian as Christ.<\/span> Is what I\u00a0feel now\u00a0God\u2019s punishment for everything I did?<\/span> When will it end and what should I do?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

1. Confess your sins<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you confessed your sins, that means you\u00a0believe the promise of God that says\u00a0He\u00a0forgave your\u00a0sins and cleansed you from all unrighteousness.<\/span> But it will not be enough to apologize to\u00a0live a life of victory from now on.<\/span> You must enter the New Covenant with Jesus Christ<\/a>.<\/span> Only so you become a child of God, you receive the Holy Spirit to live a life of victory and be able to\u00a0overcome the\u00a0depression you suffer.<\/span> God will guide you through the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures on how to proceed to restore the relationship with your husband.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/span> <\/span>Ask forgiveness from your husband<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

You wrote that you\u2019ve asked forgiveness from\u00a0your husband and that you received his forgiveness.<\/span> If\u00a0you doubt about this, or if there are other things that you think you should confess and apologize, please be sure to do it well.<\/span> In the morning tell your husband\u00a0that you have to communicate him something important and ask him to come early in the evening, at a certain time.<\/span> Cook a\u00a0nice meal and create a romantic atmosphere.<\/span> It is important to be alone.<\/span> During that meal tell him how much you\u00a0love him, how\u00a0much you\u00a0value his\u00a0love and ask\u00a0forgiveness\u00a0again for everything you\u2019ve done wrong.<\/span> Tell him that you\u2019ve asked forgiveness from God, that you have received forgiveness and that you entered the New Covenant, and urge him\u00a0to do the same thing as you begin to build your marriage with God and according to His will.<\/span> Regardless of how your spouse responds to this act continue to do well.<\/span> If you have offended your spouse\u2019s parents, it\u00a0is right and necessary to go to them and apologize, do\u00a0not try to justify yourself or\u00a0accuse them again.<\/span> Just go\u00a0and apologize to them and start to treat them properly, with respect.<\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/span> <\/span>Behave with\u00a0wisdom and learn God\u2019s Word<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not mention any of his sins nor yours\u00a0addressed to him,\u00a0but\u00a0start to live well and to do good to your husband, as you learn from the Scriptures.<\/span> Get the inductive Bible study course \u201cMarriage without regrets\u201d by Kay Arthur and study it\u00a0carefully trying to do as God teaches you\u00a0in the Bible.<\/span> I urge you to find the\u00a0movie \u201cFireproof\u201d.<\/span> This film presents a similar situation when a marriage was about destruction and how\u00a0a man who wanted to listen to the advice of\u00a0the Scriptures was able to restore the beautiful relationship with his wife.<\/span> I also suggest you to\u00a0have patience, to do what is right and let\u00a0God\u00a0work.<\/span> Find a church where the sound doctrine of\u00a0the Word of God is preached\u00a0and where people make\u00a0effort to live according to this doctrine and start to attend that church.<\/span><\/p>\n

5.<\/span> <\/span>Pray and fast<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

If you look at what you\u2019ve done or what you are able to do now, you will have\u00a0occasions just for despair.<\/span> Start to look at God, to learn from Him and put your trust in Him.<\/span> Pray systematically for the restoration\u00a0of the relationship with your husband.<\/span> Establish a\u00a0day a week or when you decide to fast<\/a> and pray specifically for this reason.<\/span> God help you so.<\/span><\/p>\n
