<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nThe one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.\u00a0Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.\u00a0For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.\u00a0Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.\u00a0So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.\u00a0(Galatians 6:6-10)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\nThis text highlights three important truths about generosity in the Christian\u2019s life:<\/span> <\/p>\n\n- \nThe\u00a0Christian must share his property with the one who teaches him the sound doctrine of God\u2019s Word.<\/span> Warning, God does not put here\u00a0any charges and does not say to the one who gives teaching from the Word to do this for money or to ask for that part.<\/span>\u00a0This word is for that one who\u00a0receives instructions from God\u2019s Word and God teaches him to share\u00a0all his goods with the one\u00a0who teaches him.<\/span> <\/li>\n
- \nWhen he\u00a0has the opportunity, the Christian must do good, and so, give the poor of his money and to all those whom he\u00a0can\u00a0help.<\/span> Warning: the Word says \u201cwhen\u00a0we have opportunity\u201d, that means when we have the possibility.<\/span> If we do not have the possibility, or if we do not have enough for our needs or our family needs,\u00a0no one asks us to give to the poor or to help others.<\/span> <\/li>\n
<\/p>\n
- \nWhen we have the possibility to give to the poor and to help them, let us\u00a0give priority to our brothers in faith, i.e. primarily to help our brothers of faith who face material or financial problems.<\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
<\/p>\n
We are not\u00a0God and we are not able to meet the needs of all poor.<\/span> But as long as we can do good,\u00a0let us\u00a0do good and give to the poor.<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Provide for\u00a0those from your house<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
In\u00a0the first\u00a0epistle to Timothy Paul wrote:<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.<\/span><\/span> (1 Timothy 5:8)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/p>\n
With the money\u00a0we earn\u00a0we should firstly take care of those from\u00a0our household and\u00a0you can not put the needs of the poor or the needs of others above our own.<\/span>\u00a0Our household is the\u00a0wife, children, parents, brothers, sisters, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Do not withhold good\u00a0when you\u00a0have the possibility to\u00a0give to the poor<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The wise Solomon wrote in the book of Proverbs as follows:<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,\u00a0when it is in your power to do it.\u00a0Do not say to your neighbor, \u201cGo, and come back,\u00a0and tomorrow I will give it,\u201d\u00a0when you have it with you.<\/span><\/span> (Proverbs 3:27-28)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/p>\n
True religion is manifested in\u00a0generosity to the deprived and giving to the poor<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.<\/span><\/span> (James 1:27)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/p>\n
Orphans and widows, and in our age elderly people, too,\u00a0are the category of people who\u00a0live in poverty and need our help.<\/span> Therefore, do not\u00a0pass indifferently by\u00a0these poor people\u00a0and when you can do a\u00a0charity, do not withhold it.<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
