If a child (a girl) was raped in childhood, which means that she\u00a0will not\u00a0be a virgin, does it mean\u00a0that she committed adultery?<\/span> What is better for that girl: to marry or live alone, seeking to be in communion with God, although it is aware of what happened?<\/span> Is it morally, spiritually correct that such a \u201craped\u201d person\u00a0would\u00a0still get married to a virgin boy?<\/span> Can the victim of the \u201crape\u201d\u00a0inherit eternal life, given that it was violated the 7th commandment?<\/span> What should\u00a0the girl\u00a0do to be forgiven before God?<\/span> And how should she continue her life socially, spiritually and even in her family?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To give you an answer to your question, it is important to look first at \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

What does the Bible say about rape?<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

God\u00a0gave the following\u00a0commandment concerning rape cases:<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If there is a girl who is a virgin engaged to a man, and another man finds her in the city and lies with her,\u00a0then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city and you shall stone them to death; the girl, because she did not cry out in the city, and the man, because he has violated his neighbor\u2019s wife. Thus you shall purge the evil from among you.\u00a0But if in the field the man finds the girl who is engaged, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man who lies with her shall die.\u00a0But you shall do nothing to the girl; there is no sin in the girl worthy of death, for just as a man rises against his neighbor and murders him, so is this case.\u00a0When he found her in the field, the engaged girl cried out, but there was no one to save her.\u00a0(Deuteronomy 22:23-27)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

From this text the following important truths stand out about the violated person:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • \nIf the girl was raped and she\u00a0did not do anything to oppose rape, it\u00a0means that she\u00a0agreed and she is equally guilty of this sin.<\/span> In this case it seems that we can not call it rape, but adultery.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n
  • \nIf the raped girl was forced to have sexual relations, she can be likened to the victim of a murder and she is not guilty, she should not be accused of adultery.<\/span> It is true that people are very unjust and they often consider the raped girl\u00a0guilty, they\u00a0judge her and condemn her, increasing\u00a0her pain.<\/span> In fact, in general, society tends to condemn the victim and intercede in wrongdoer\u2019s favor.<\/span> Think of how people today think about abortion and abolish the death penalty for killers who committed intentional murder.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n
  • \nHe who raped a girl is worthy of death and to kidnap a girl\u2019s virginity is like committing a murder.<\/span> Let all boys and men know this and not believe that if society tolerates this crime, then God\u00a0will not\u00a0judge it.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    It is good for the rape victim to marry?<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Like any other person, the rape victim is free to marry or remain unmarried.<\/span> It\u2019s her choice.<\/span> I realize that girls who were raped are afraid to think about the fact that in their marriage they will have sexual relations and for many of them sexual relationship is\u00a0associated with debasement, humiliation, and aggression.<\/span> They should study well the Scriptures and understand\u00a0that the covenant of marriage implies the duty of the\u00a0wife, according to which\u00a0the wife should fulfill her husband\u2019s sexual needs just as the husband should fulfill this duty to\u00a0his wife.<\/span> Marriage will suffer a lot and the wife who stays with an attitude of repulsion towards sexual relationship will\u00a0frustrate herself and\u00a0her husband a lot.<\/span> Therefore, they should think very well at it before going into marriage.<\/span> I recommend to all rape victims to do the inductive Bible study courses written by Kay Arthur:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • The truth about sex<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Lord, heal my hurts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      These courses will bring the necessary healing\u00a0for a happy marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Is it fair for the rape victim to marry a virgin boy?<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

      Yes, it is correct, because as we saw, she is a victim and she is not to be blamed for what happened.<\/span> But be sure that the boy who marries has the same understanding of things.<\/span> Otherwise she can\u00a0realize that she married someone who will not understand her any time, will blame her, and\u00a0their relationship will suffer a lot.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Can the rape victim\u00a0inherit eternal life if she broke\u00a0the 7th commandment?<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

      The 7th Commandment says:<\/span><\/p>\n

      Do not commit adultery.<\/span> (Exodus 20:14)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      The Scriptures make it clear that the rape victim is not guilty of this sin.<\/span> However, the rape victim, and any other person is sinful because the Bible says:<\/span><\/p>\n

      For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. <\/span><\/span>(Romans 3:23)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      And the Bible also says<\/span><\/p>\n

      For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/span><\/span> (Romans 6:23)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      Thus, the rape victim as any other person\u00a0in this world must believe in Jesus with all his heart and enter the New Covenant with Him to receive the gift of eternal life.<\/span> Hurry up to join the New Covenant to be born again, receive the Holy Spirit and have the safety of your salvation.<\/span><\/p>\n

      How can a rape victim continue her life socially, spiritually and in her family?<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

      If she\u00a0receives God\u2019s forgiveness and healing that come through studying God\u2019s Word, the rape victim will not see herself just so,\u00a0as the rape victim, but she will see herself as the child of God and live this way,\u00a0a life of victory with God.<\/span> I know\u00a0such people and I admire how God filled them with joy and made them\u00a0a blessing for their family and for all people.<\/span> It is God\u2019s plan for anyone who turns to Him \u2013 to become a new creature, as it is written:<\/span><\/p>\n

      <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.\u00a0Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.\u00a0(2 Corinthians 5:16-17)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      And if we no longer know anyone\u00a0according to the flesh,\u00a0nor the rape victim should\u00a0see things that way,\u00a0and live\u00a0a life of pressure, but know well that in Christ she\u00a0became a new creature and live a new beautiful life,\u00a0with Christ and for the glory of God.<\/span> God\u00a0help you so.<\/span><\/p>\n
