A report published by the European Parliament shows that a marriage breaks up and an abortion is performed every 30 seconds in the states of the European Union. EP warns that the family life collapses in Europe. The same document specifies that\u00a0the birth-rate is critical, especially in those 27 countries of the Union. In\u00a02007\u00a0were born almost one million children less then in 1980. Another poll, made by the Family Policy Institute in these states, shows that the number of pensioners outruns the number of teenagers and more persons live alone.<\/p>\n
Not long time ago, a student who lives in the dormitory of the State University from Moldova and learns at the Faculty of Chemistry gave birth to a child conceived in an immoral relation, and threw it in WC. The number of divorce outruns the number\u00a0of marriages. Parents leave their houses for other countries and a big number of children remain alone. Immorality is promoted through mass media and certain organizations work systematically to spread immorality. Families are affected by permanent conflicts and so many people commit suicidal. We can not accept such a state of a family. We have to protect our families.<\/p>\n
The family is instituted by God<\/strong><\/p>\n When Pharisees came to tempt the Lord Jesus, asking Him about divorce, <\/p>\n He answered and said, \u201cHave you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE,\u00a0and said, \u2018FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH\u2019?\u00a0\u201dSo they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.\u201d (Matthew 19:4\u20136)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n God is the creator of\u00a0the family and every man feels protected and comfortable only in family. The family is the place of joy and fulfilment. <\/p>\n Immorality destroys family<\/strong><\/p>\n Sexual relation is a gift from God only for wife and husband. One of those 10 commandments says: \u201cYou shall not commit adultery\u201d and the last commandment says: \u201cYou shall\u00a0not covet your neighbour\u2019s wife\u2026\u201d We live times when immorality is considered a virtue and, being promoted by all means, it affects negatively people\u2019s minds and then it destroys their families. God also says in the Bible:<\/p>\n For I hate divorce,\u201d says the LORD, the God of Israel, \u201cand him who covers his garment with wrong,\u201d says the LORD of hosts. \u201cSo take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.\u201d (Malachy 2:16)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n We are obliged to protect the family<\/strong><\/p>\n If we do not do anything, things will go worse and worse. Family is close to collapse not only in Europe, but in Moldova, too. It is an alarming situation that calls every man and woman to take attitude and action. Faith in God was and remains the foundation of the family that lasts.
