After I had visited an embassy and an exchange service, I decided to write a post about the importance of a nice attitude when we seve people at our work places.<\/p>\n
1. Don\u2019t show a dull, sad face when you are in front of people.<\/strong> At the embassy, the lady that was at the office desk, even if she was dressed up very elegantly and had a good make up, she had a sad face and she showed disgrace to all those who approached her desk. It seemed to me I did not come in the right time, or that I went to the wrong office desk or I did not have to come at all. But of course it was neither of these reasons. She told me angrily that my acts were not ready and I could leave and come other time or wait to receive them later. I prefered to wait and I saw that she behaved the same angry way with everyone who came to her desk. Immediately after that, I went to an exchange service and there, the lady that was at the pay desk was very, very angry, as if I came to borrow a big sum of money from her, or to take it forcely and not to change it, bringing a profit to her, because her salary was made up from this and she could be grateful or welcoming at least. I ask myself why these people behave this way. Maybe it is a way of revenge on those who behaved the same way with them, or maybe because of the problems they have in their families. It is not good and correct to act this way. There is a proverb that says: \u201cDo unto others as you would they should do unto you\u201d. The same pricniple was told by Jesus Christ, when He said:<\/p>\n In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets (The Gospel of Matthew 7:12)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n So, treat people not how they treat you, but how you want them to treat you. The relation we have with people reflects the relation we have with God.<\/p>\n 2. Seek to help people showing kindness.<\/strong> While I was waiting at the embassy, another man with a woman came at the office desk and presented a very detailed report on a bank paper. They were very exhausted and it was clear that they came here for many times. That lady who was at the office desk told them absolutely cold: \u201cIt is not indicated all we need, you have to go and bring another act\u201d. God says in the Book of the Proverbs of Solomon:<\/p>\n Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, \u201cGo, and come back, and tomorrow I will give it,\u201d when you have it with you. (Proverbs 3:27\u201328)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n How do you behave when you are asked for help? Don\u2019t you want to let the Lord Jesus\u2019 face be seen while you serve people?
