Good evening. I want to know if a Christian who commits sins and God decides to take the life of the person with whom He has concluded a covenant, does that person know that he is going to die?<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

<\/em><\/p>\n

Yes, of course the person knows. In the Bible, Chapter 11 of 1 Corinthians, apostle Paul writes about Christians that take the bread or the cup of the Lord in a wrong way. What makes these people unworthy for the wholly meal? The fact that they do not live according to the New Covenant they entered. This is why they will be judged. They will not die suddenly. Firstly they will experience infirmity. If they do not repent, the disease will come in their lives. If after that they continue not to repent, then the physical death will intervene. Here the death is called sleep<\/em>, because about the saints (and they are saints, because they became saints through the blood of Jesus Christ) God says that they fall asleep when He refers to their physical death. Below what Bible says about this:<\/p>\n

“If, then, anyone takes the bread or the cup of the Lord in the wrong spirit, he
will be responsible for the body and blood of the Lord. But let no man take of the bread and the cup without testing himself. For a man puts himself in danger, if he takes part in the holy meal without being conscious that it is the Lord’s body. For this cause a number of you are feeble and ill, and a number are dead. But if we were true judges of ourselves, punishment would not come on us. But if punishment does come, it is sent by the Lord, so that we may be safe when the world is judged.” 1Corinthians 11:27-32<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Those who continue to live in their sins have to know that God will accomplish what He said, because He is faithful to His Word. So far I have seen many such cases and each time I was surprised how fast God judgement arrived in the lives of the people who left the New Covenant.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Christians that depart from the faith have to know that physical death will intervene in their life and if they do not repent, they should not make plans for a long life. And also they have to know that God judges them in this way, using the infirmity, death and physical death to avoid judging them together with those unfaithful from the world.<\/p>\n

If you know such persons or if you are one of these persons, hurry up to tell them about the forgiveness they can receive from Jesus Christ or hurry you up to beg for mercy, because we have a God that is merciful and reach in compassion that says the following in His Word:<\/p>\n

“If we say that we have no sin, we are false to ourselves and there is nothing
true in us. If we say openly that we have done wrong, he is upright and true to his word, giving us forgiveness of sins and making us clean from all evil.” (1 John 1:8-9)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And He also says …<\/p>\n

“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may be without
sin. And if any man is a sinner, we have a friend and helper with the Father,
Jesus Christ, the upright one: He is the offering for our sins; and not for ours only, but for all the world.” (1 John 2:1-2)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
