I would like to know who interrupted the continual offering: Jesus or \u00a0the Romans in the year 70 AD ? If the Romans interrupteed it, is Jesus Christ the\u00a0Lamb of God, who\u00a0takes away the sin of the world, making the\u00a0propitiation?<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nThe continual offering is part of the Israel worship according to the Old Covenant or, how does the apostle Paul use to write, according to the Law. \u00a0 According\u00a0to the Epistle to Hebrews, this Covenant did not have\u00a0the very\u00a0form of things, but only a\u00a0a shadow of\u00a0the good things to come, or what the Lord Jesus would do in the New Covenant. The Lord Jesus had never annulled the continual offering, but He fulfilled: all those offerings brought according to the Law (the Old Covenant), demonstrated to the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Form this text we see that, through His \u00a0work, He superseded the Old\u00a0Covenant to the New Covenant (replaced). The Lord Jesus, Himself, said that He did not\u00a0come to abolish the\u00a0Law or the Prophets, but to fulfill them:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDo not think that I came to abolish the\u00a0Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.\u00a0For truly I say to you,\u00a0until heaven and earth pass away, not\u00a0the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.<\/span>

Moreover, from the prophecies we know that before the second coming of the Lord Jesus, after the rapture of the Church, the Temple from Jerusalem will be rebuilt and the people of Israel will restore the\u00a0temple worship, according to the law of the Old Testament and then for the last time the continual offering will be interrupted by the antichrist who will take his seat in the temple of God,\u00a0displaying himself as being God.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Then after the sixty-two weeks the\u00a0Messiah will be\u00a0cut off and have\u00a0nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will\u00a0destroy the city and the sanctuary. And\u00a0its end\u00a0will come\u00a0with a\u00a0flood; even to the end\u00a0there will be war; desolations are determined.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering<\/strong>; and on the wing of\u00a0abominations\u00a0will come\u00a0one who\u00a0makes desolate, even until a\u00a0complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who\u00a0makes desolate.\u201d<\/span>

From this text we see that, at the time of the end, the continual offering will be interrupted by a prince, who will rise from that people, who destroyed the Temple and Jerusalem after the\u00a0crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.<\/span>
\nTherefore, the Lord Jesus had never interrupted the continual offering, but He came to fulfill what these offerings proclaimed and He is the\u00a0Lamb of God, who\u00a0takes away the sin of the world and makes the propitiation for all, but God, who is\u00a0merciful and faithful, after the work, for the salvation of the Church (composed of Hebrews and Gentiles), will end, He will save His people Israel according to the promises\u00a0to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as it is written:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0For\u00a0I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this\u00a0mystery\u2014so that you will not be\u00a0wise in your own estimation\u2014that a partial\u00a0hardening has happened to Israel until the\u00a0fullness of the Gentiles has come in;\u00a0\u00a0and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written,\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u201cThe Deliverer will come from Zion,<\/span>
He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.\u201d<\/span>
\u00a0\u201cThis is\u00a0My covenant with them,<\/span>
When I take away their sins.\u201d<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0From the standpoint of the gospel they are\u00a0enemies for your sake, but\u00a0from the standpoint of\u00a0God\u2019s\u00a0choice they are beloved for\u00a0the sake of the fathers;\u00a0for the gifts and the\u00a0calling of God\u00a0are irrevocable.\u00a0<\/span>
