On the way home, there\u00a0were\u00a0so many mothers and young children on the airplane, like I have never seen before. <\/span>After the plane has taken the necessary height, the children began to play\u00a0with each other and were running\u00a0on the path\u00a0between the seats. <\/span>I liked that none of the passengers or flight attendants looked dissatisfied, in fact, conversely, all they where admiring these children.<\/span> <\/p>\n After\u00a0landing, when we were waiting in line at passport control\u00a0we decided to give priority to mothers and fathers with children and we were happy to be the\u00a0last in the line.<\/span> <\/p>\n While waiting in line I was curious and\u00a0asked questions and I\u00a0learned that almost all those parents live in London and there were their\u00a0children born.<\/span> I was glad that they\u00a0could be with the whole family and so,\u00a0children do not have the fate of more than 200,000 children in our country growing up without parents.<\/span> <\/p>\n There\u00a0I reminded\u00a0of a joke that I had heard the other day: a passenger was well served in a restaurant in London and when the waiter asked him which country\u00a0was he from, he found\u00a0out he\u00a0was from Moldova.<\/span> Then, he\u00a0went to Tokyo and\u00a0there he met someone who offered him another job and was also from Moldova.<\/span> When he went to Washington and took dinner at a restaurant where the waiter was from Moldova,\u00a0the man asked: \u201cSir, I looked\u00a0on the map and saw that you have a very small country.<\/span> How is it that you are present in the whole world?\u201d The waiter replied: \u201cWhat you saw on the map is the central office, but the whole world is ours.\u201d<\/span> <\/p>\n God bless all the families in our country and around the world and help us keep this divine institution as it has been\u00a0conceived by the\u00a0Creator. <\/span>He says so in the Sacred Scriptures:<\/span> <\/p>\n Unless the LORD builds the house,\u00a0they labor in vain who build it;\u00a0unless the LORD guards the city,\u00a0the watchman keeps awake in vain.\u00a0It is vain for you to rise up early,\u00a0to retire late,\u00a0to eat the bread of painful labors;\u00a0for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.\u00a0Behold, children are a gift of the LORD,\u00a0the fruit of the womb is a reward.\u00a0Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,\u00a0so are the children of one\u2019s youth.\u00a0How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them;\u00a0they will not be ashamed\u00a0when they speak with their enemies in the gate.<\/span><\/span> (Psalm 127:1-5)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Let us\u00a0seek the face of God with all our heart that He may build our families and nations.<\/span> <\/p>\n Translated by Felicia Rotaru<\/em><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" May 15 was announced by the UN as the International Day of the Family.
