Question:<\/span><\/p>\n

I was in the country\u00a0at Easter and I\u00a0was glad to participate in the service of Lamentations at the Romanian Patriarchate in Bucharest and I was at Sinaia Monastery at the Resurrection.<\/em><\/span> On<\/em> Easter occasion Patriarch Daniel gave a sermon televised on Trinitas TV where\u00a0he said that at the Resurrection we would receive light from the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and that light was of unknown nature which simply took fire at the Holy Sepulchre without scientific explanation, by God\u2019s power.<\/em><\/span> What do you think about it?<\/em><\/span> If it is indeed so, why doesn\u2019t\u00a0the Christian Church use this thing as clear evidence of the existence of God to convince unbelievers to be born again?<\/em><\/span> If, however, it is not so, why is this sensational thing spread among Christians, for what purpose?<\/em><\/span> In my opinion, the true light comes from true faith in God as a triple person.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

People\u2019s opinions about the holy light in\u00a0Jerusalem are divided: some believe it is a divine miracle repeated every year at Easter and others have tried to give scientific explanations to what is happening there.<\/span> Our God is the God of miracles and is able to perform miracles and signs\u00a0greater than these.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Scriptures say that if people do not believe what is written in the Holy Scripture, then they will not believe even if someone would rise from the dead and so, they\u00a0will not\u00a0believe in God even when they see the greatest miracles.<\/span> They always seek to explain things differently, \u201cscientifically\u201d, or somehow else.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our faith in God should be based on the truth of the Scriptures that are the Word of God and not on miracles, or feelings, or\u00a0any other things.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Light of Christians is Lord Jesus Himself, as He Himself said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, \u201cI am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.\u201d <\/span>(John 8:12)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Let us\u00a0know Him as He is presented in the Holy Scripture, receive Him into our hearts and live in complete obedience to His commandments as they are written in the Bible.<\/span><\/p>\n
