\"fools\"God speaks a lot about fool people\u00a0in the Bible. Obviously it is impossible to give a full description of a fool in an article. Human foolishness is firstly seen\u00a0by the way he relates to his Creator. In this article I will limit to this aspect of a fool\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

The fool ignores the existence of God<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the book of Psalms it is written:<\/p>\n

The fool has said in his heart, \u201cThere is no God\u201d<\/strong> They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds;\u00a0there is no one who does good.<\/span> (Psalm 14:1)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The fool does not want to see and recognize God\u2019s presence in creation:<\/p>\n

How great are Your works, O LORD!\u00a0Your thoughts are very deep.\u00a0A senseless man has no knowledge,\u00a0nor does a stupid man understand this<\/strong>.<\/span> (Psalm 92:5-6)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, so also denying the existence and presence of God is the foundation of human stupidity. Because they do not\u00a0recognize the existence of God \u2026<\/p>\n

Fools despise the divine wisdom <\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the\u00a0beginning of the book of Proverbs wise Solomon writes:<\/p>\n

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction<\/strong>.<\/span> (Proverbs 1:7)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Therefore, in the book of Proverbs, God\u00a0personified Wisdom and\u00a0put in her mouth this address to the fools:<\/p>\n

\u201cHow long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded?\u00a0And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing\u00a0and fools hate knowledge<\/strong>?\u00a0Turn to my reproof,\u00a0behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;\u00a0I will make my words known to you. <\/span>(Proverbs 1:22-23)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

God wants to give wisdom, but fools do not see and do not admit that they need it. Therefore \u2026<\/p>\n

Fools create their own big problems <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Further on, Wisdom continues<\/p>\n

Because I called and you refused,\u00a0I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention;\u00a0and you neglected all my counsel\u00a0and did not want my reproof;\u00a0I will also laugh at your calamity;\u00a0I will mock when your dread comes,\u00a0when your dread comes like a storm\u00a0and your calamity comes like a whirlwind,\u00a0when distress and anguish come upon you.\u00a0Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;\u00a0they will seek me diligently but they will not find me,\u00a0because they hated knowledge\u00a0and did not choose the fear of the LORD.\u00a0They would not accept my counsel,\u00a0they spurned all my reproof.\u00a0So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way\u00a0a<\/strong>nd be satiated with their own devices. <\/span>(Proverbs 1:24-31)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The fool does not think about the salvation of his soul <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Wisdom also says:<\/p>\n

For the waywardness of the naive will kill them,\u00a0and the complacency of fools will destroy them.<\/strong> But he who listens to me shall live securely\u00a0and will be at ease from the dread of evil.\u201d<\/span> (Proverbs 1:32-33)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In this respect, Lord\u00a0Jesus spoke to the people \u2026<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And He told them a parable, saying, \u201cThe land of a rich man was very productive.\u00a0And he began reasoning to himself, saying, \u2018What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?\u2019\u00a0Then he said, \u2018This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.\u00a0And I will say to my soul, \u201cSoul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry.\u201d\u2018\u00a0But God said to him, \u2018You fool! <\/strong>This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?\u2019\u00a0So is the man who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.\u201d\u00a0(Luke 12:16-21)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

God give us fear\u00a0of Him, because that is the beginning of wisdom and let us not neglect the teaching of God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\n
