What\u00a0are\u00a0the\u00a0opportunities for marriage between\u00a0two young people: an Adventist\u00a0boy and a Baptist\u00a0girl? <\/em><\/span>The boy is not yet baptized, but he is convinced that Saturday is the true day of rest, and his heart does not let him get over it. <\/em><\/span>Please,\u00a0give\u00a0me\u00a0an idea and a solution. This difference of opinion is more than something that is classified as \u201cdoubtful views\u201d, because it addresses the importance of respecting the day of rest in the process of salvation and it has many deep implications pertaining to other issues.<\/span> Therefore, I suggest the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Each of you should take time to study\u00a0what the Bible says about the\u00a0day of rest, about rest in general and how the Lord Jesus\u00a0and the apostles have taught and\u00a0reported to\u00a0the Sabbath day.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Only after both you will study deeply this subject you should\u00a0meet and discuss.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. If you find a single opinion, you should determine yourselves to\u00a0become members of the same church.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. If your views remain different, I advise you not to think about marriage and to separate, because otherwise you\u2019ll have many problems and inconvenience for the future.<\/span> What\u00a0kind of testimony will you bear\u00a0to people and what relationship will you have when your whole\u00a0life one of you will go on Saturday to worship in one place and another one elsewhere on Sunday?<\/span> Then, when one of you will teach your children something\u00a0from the Scriptures, the other one will come to present things differently and this will create confusion in their minds and hearts, then unbelief and rebellion.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    And another thing \u2026 If somehow, one of you accepts the other one\u2019s opinion just because of marriage, it will create great problems and conflicts in your marriage relationship and in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n
