Please, if you can give me an advice \u2026 I am\u00a0confused \u2026 I\u00a0was born an Orthodox, I\u00a0go to church with my family and try to have an unblemished life before Christ.<\/em><\/span> But, I feel lost \u2026 All the customs of the Church that I attend, the\u00a0behavior of the priests and parishioners from\u00a0my church\u00a0do not grow me.<\/em><\/span> I leave the church always crying and sad for what I see there \u2026 I tried to go to other religions, but I still do not feel fulfilled.<\/em><\/span> What way\u00a0should I follow to feel my relationship with God a perfect\u00a0one?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It is sad to hear about the disappointment you\u00a0have\u00a0experienced exactly where you should receive hope and faith in God\u2019s truth.<\/span> But, from the outset I want to draw your attention to the words of the Lord Jesus who said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(John 14:6)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Only through personal knowledge of Jesus Christ you can have and feel perfect relationship with God.<\/span> You must believe wholeheartedly in the Lord Jesus,\u00a0repent and enter into a covenant with Him, that is the New Covenant described in the\u00a0New Testament (in fact, that\u2019s why it is\u00a0called so).<\/span>\u00a0 At the conclusion of this covenant you will be born again<\/a> and receive the Holy Spirit.<\/span> You will always feel God\u2019s presence\u00a0in your heart because\u00a0God\u2019s Spirit will dwell in your heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

Until you are born again<\/a> you can never get to that\u00a0relationship with God\u00a0that you\u00a0yearn so much now.<\/span><\/p>\n

Below I give you some practical tips to follow them now:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Start reading the Bible in its entirety. <\/span>I suppose you have the Bible, but if you do not, look as soon as possible for the Bible and start reading it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. If you have read the Bible in its entirety, I\u00a0suggest you to get the\u00a0inductive Bible study books and for beginning\u00a0I recommend you the course \u201cGod, are you there?\u201d through which you will study\u00a0in depth the Gospel of John, and you will learn to research the Scriptures.<\/span> It is a\u00a0big difference to read and study the Bible.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Look for a\u00a0church close to you\u00a0where the priest preaches healthy\u00a0teaching\u00a0from the Holy Scriptures (check it with what you read and study from the Bible) and the parishioners study the Bible.<\/span> It is also important for the priest to live the Gospel message that\u00a0he\u00a0preaches, otherwise, your disappointment will grow more.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Search for a group of Christians who study the Scriptures and live according to the healthy teaching and go to fellowship with them to study together.<\/span> Here I want to alert you that some, under the pretext of studying the Bible in fact adhere to heretical teachings and I\u00a0advise you to\u00a0avoid\u00a0this. <\/span>If it gives more credit to the writings of men\u00a0than to the Holy Scriptures, it is already dangerous.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Begin to pray to God from the heart according to what you read from the Scriptures and according to what you feel and the needs you have and thank God for the way He always answer prayers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
