I am a young woman of 25 years and I have a boyfriend of another religion.<\/em><\/span> He is a protestant, but is skeptical of the existence of God.<\/em><\/span> I try to enlighten him, but it\u2019s hard for me because\u00a0my faith is weak. <\/em><\/span>We have very different views on life, but still I love him a lot. <\/em><\/span>I do not know what would be better: to leave him,\u00a0or to\u00a0hope that I could insufflate\u00a0him a form of faith?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It s<\/span>ounds interesting \u201che is a protestant, but is skeptical of the existence of God\u201d\u2026 But it is the reality of today\u00a0when people beat\u00a0the breast that they are Christians, declare themselves so\u00a0at the population census, but essentially are atheists \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have not believed wholeheartedly in the Lord Jesus, if you have not entered\u00a0the New Covenant with Him, if you have not experienced the new birth and have not received the Holy Spirit of God you are not very different from\u00a0your friend\u00a0regarding the salvation of the soul.<\/span> We need faith to\u00a0save our\u00a0souls from eternal perdition in hell and inherit the gift of eternal life.<\/span> It does not matter the\u00a0religion of a person or the church he is attending, unless he enters the New Covenant with the Lord Jesus and is born again,\u00a0everything is useless.<\/span> To Nicodemus, a very religious man\u00a0of his time, the Savior said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Jesus answered and said to him, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.<\/strong>\u201c\u00a0Nicodemus said to Him, \u201cHow can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother\u2019s womb and be born, can he?\u201d\u00a0Jesus answered, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God <\/strong>(Gospel of John 3:3-5)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The question of your new birth\u00a0is much more important.<\/span> Therefore, this is what I advise you to do:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \nIf you do not yet have, buy as soon as possible\u00a0a Bible for you and your boyfriend and start reading the New Testament to\u00a0understand well the message of the\u00a0Gospel.<\/span> I recommend you to find the book \u201cGod, are you there?\u201d which is an excellent book to study the Gospel of John applying the inductive method.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \nFind a church where God\u2019s Word is preached accurately and begin to go there.<\/span> Ask the priest or the pastor to help you understand God\u2019s Word and give you guidance so you can enter the New Covenant with the Lord Jesus.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \nIf your\u00a0boyfriend does not show interest in sacred things and refuses to do these things, you should part because you can not start a family in which to be happy.<\/span> You know by yourself the case of the crayfish,\u00a0the swan and the pike, the cart remained in place, and everyone was upset because each one was dragging\u00a0in his direction.<\/span> To make\u00a0a happy family with someone, you must have the same values and go in the same direction.<\/span> And Jesus categorically forbids those who have entered the New Covenant with Him to marry someone who is not part of this covenant.<\/span>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    God guide you and help you in these important steps.<\/span><\/p>\n
