In this article I want to present some practical and useful tips for reading the biblical text that will be useful for\u00a0the\u00a0reader when he\u00a0will study the Bible alone\u00a0or in\u00a0group, and when he will preach\u00a0from\u00a0the pulpit.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n1.<\/span> <\/span>Choose to read aloud<\/span> <\/h4>\n

Whenever I have this option, I choose to read the Bible aloud and if it is needed,\u00a0to not bother others I\u00a0go to another room.<\/span> Why do I do this?<\/span> Because\u00a0in this way\u00a0I memorize better\u00a0the Word of God and exclude the fugitive reading and do not lose sight of\u00a0the important details.<\/span> All along, I keep and I develop a good diction as a preacher.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n2.<\/span> <\/span>Take your time to read<\/span> <\/h4>\n

In all things, as the saying is\u00a0\u201dthe more haste the less speed\u201d, but when reading God\u2019s Word in a hurry\u00a0one\u00a0overlooks many important details.<\/span> Moreover, all details of the Word of God\u00a0are extremely important.<\/span> I\u00a0have sometimes seen how\u00a0some people, especially children, want to impress the adults and begin to read so quickly that\u00a0at every two\u00a0or three words they make a mistake,\u00a0need to have a break and repeat the phrase, or\u00a0take it from the beginning.<\/span> The result of such a reading is that neither the\u00a0one who reads\u00a0nor the\u00a0listeners understand many things.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n3.<\/span> <\/span>Do not ignore intonation<\/span> <\/h3>\n

Especially in small\u00a0Bible study groups, I sometimes saw that even some leaders despise the intonation when\u00a0reading the Biblical text.<\/span> By this way of reading, a wrong message\u00a0is transmitted to listeners\u00a0that\u00a0allows to understand that it is not so important the Word of God.<\/span> Remember that\u00a0this is God\u2019s Word and it has to be transmitted as from\u00a0God and before Him.<\/span> <\/p>\n

In the first epistle, the Apostle Paul wrote to his disciple Timothy so:<\/span> <\/p>\n

Until I come, give attention to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation and teaching.<\/span><\/span> (1 Timothy 4:13)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And\u00a0to Titus, another\u00a0disciple of his and\u00a0servant in the Gospel, the Apostle wrote:<\/span> <\/p>\n

In all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified,\u00a0sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.\u00a0(Titus 2:7-8)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
