{"id":57449,"date":"2009-11-22T18:21:14","date_gmt":"2009-11-22T16:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/moldovacrestina.md\/who-determines-destiny-man-or-god"},"modified":"2017-05-27T09:01:45","modified_gmt":"2017-05-27T07:01:45","slug":"who-determines-destiny-man-or-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moldovacrestina.md\/en\/who-determines-destiny-man-or-god\/","title":{"rendered":"Who determines destiny &#8211; man or God?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Question:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"td_quote_box td_box_center\"><p><em>Do you believe in\u00a0destiny as\u00a0people say that the fated will happen?<\/em> <em>Does man\u00a0do everything with his hand, as it is said,\u00a0the arbiter of our fate, provided\u00a0by God out of love, or does God set for each if us a specific plan, so that we only follow the path predestined before us?<\/em>\u00a0<em>Can this path change\u00a0at some point in life through a strong and genuine\u00a0faith in Jesus and God, meaning that\u00a0one finds God through the new birth and receives from Him according to his\u00a0soul and heart?<\/em> <em>To be taken into account both\u00a0the original sin, and\u00a0also the sin of the parents of that person.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-107182 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.moldovacrestina.md\/2009\/11\/create-your-destiny-arrows.png\" alt=\"destiny\" width=\"600\" height=\"378\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some believe that man is\u00a0an absolute\u00a0master of his fate and that\u00a0God\u00a0has no implication in our lives.Others, by contrast, are inclined to believe that God has already predestined everything for a\u00a0man and it does not\u00a0matter what choices\u00a0a man makes.<\/p>\n<p>When getting out of Egypt, before entering the promised land of Canaan, God told the people of Israel the following :<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"td_quote_box td_box_center\"><p><span class=\"google-src-text\">\u201cSee, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity;\u00a0in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that the LORD your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.\u00a0But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them,\u00a0I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess it.\u00a0I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse.
