I can say that the topics you\u00a0address are\u00a0very interesting.<\/em><\/span> I would like to discuss the problem of vasectomy.<\/em><\/span> Is it a sin or not to do a vasectomy surgery?<\/em><\/span> My wife no longer wants to continue with anti-conception pills and her desire for me is to do\u00a0vasectomy.<\/em><\/span>\u00a0Or, more precisely,\u00a0according to\u00a0the laws of God, what is the form\u00a0of having sex in the family life without fear for a new pregnancy.<\/em><\/span> I mention that we already have a child and my wife does not want to become pregnant.<\/em><\/span> I look forward with great interest to your response, willing that the Lord Jesus will\u00a0guide you in the great work you are doing.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\"\"Vasectomy is a procedure designed to make a man sterile.<\/span> The doctor cuts the two tubes called vasa deferentia of a man, that carry the sperm from the testicles into some pockets in the scrotum, that store the sperm before ejaculation.<\/span>\u00a0In simple terms, vasectomy blocks the only ways in which sperm leave the body.<\/span> The sperm are reabsorbed into the body.<\/span> Men with vasectomies can have sexual relations and ejaculate, but their semen will not contain sperm, and they will not be able to fertilize the egg and thus they can not cause pregnancy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vasectomy is a contemporary practice and it was not practiced in biblical times and thus it is not mentioned in the Bible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, God addresses in the\u00a0Bible\u00a0the use of contraceptives.<\/span> I invite you to read the article What does the Bible say about contraception?<\/a>, where I\u00a0presented God\u2019s perspective\u00a0on this subject.<\/span> There you will find principles\u00a0left\u00a0from God and that certainly can be applied\u00a0to your situation.\u00a0You\u2019ll also find many comments and some of\u00a0them are written by doctors.<\/span><\/p>\n

I advise you to think that God has given you the blessing to have children<\/a> and it is good and beautiful to\u00a0want and to enjoy them,\u00a0educating them\u00a0into obedience to God.<\/span><\/p>\n

One\u00a0very important thing is the factor of\u00a0faith and personal freedom\u00a0concerning this subject and here\u00a0can\u00a0be\u00a0applied the\u00a0verse\u00a0from Romans that says:<\/span><\/p>\n

Whatever is not from faith is sin.\u00a0<\/span>(Romans 14:23)(NASB)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And what does a couple who has only one child do after vasectomy, if\u00a0they lose that child?<\/span>\u00a0Or, if\u00a0the wife dies and the husband marries another woman who will want to have children?<\/span><\/p>\n
