I have accidentally discovered your site for\u00a0a week and you should know that you did a great\u00a0job.<\/em> I have read dozens of articles on the site that\u00a0helped me to find out the answer to many questions and meanwhile I started reading the Bible (I read it once as a child). <\/em>What do you think about a Christian\u2019s salvation without going to church (no matter what kind of) being guided only by the teachings of the Holy Bible?<\/em> Is it possible that a simple man with the Bible in his hand to get to know God without going to church?<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Going to church does not save us, but the faith in Jesus Christ and entering into the New Covenant the Savior made by His sacrifice\u00a0on the cross of Calvary.<\/p>\n

The Bible was left for our salvation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Can<\/p>\n

That is why God left the Bible to tell us His will and the way of salvation for all of us. To the end of the Gospel of John it is written:<\/p>\n

Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;\u00a0but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. <\/span>(John 20:30-31)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lord Jesus, in a conversation with Jews who sought to kill him said:<\/p>\n

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me. <\/span>(John 5:39)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

See, that is why God left us the Scriptures, that we may believe\u00a0through them\u00a0in the Lord Jesus and by this faith to have the gift of eternal life.<\/p>\n

The task of the Church is to bring the Gospel to the people, to all people, that is to preach the truth of the Holy Scripture, so that all may believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.<\/p>\n

I know people who have entered the\u00a0covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ reading the Bible and\u00a0this was expected, because this\u00a0is the primary purpose for which God has left It \u2013 the salvation of people. But there is the following very important aspect.<\/p>\n

Christians serve the Church of Christ<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Everyone who has become a Christian will look for the Church of Christ and\u00a0when I say it, I do\u00a0not refer to the building, but the assembly of the saved, because that is the Church. Lord<\/span> Jesus says that the Church is His body and every Christian is a member of this body and one can not exist if it is not integrated into the body, if not serving others and not being served by others. The Scripture says:<\/p>\n

For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function,\u00a0so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. (Romans 12:4-5)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Scripture also says:<\/p>\n

Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,\u00a0not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.\u00a0(Hebrews 10:24-25)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There are other reasons for a Christian to attend the church<\/a> and he\u00a0will never leave the assembly of the saved.<\/p>\n

I urge the author of the question to seek a local church where\u00a0the word of God is\u00a0preached and where saved people gather, who\u00a0have the\u00a0gospel in their heart, so that\u00a0they may live and preach it to others.<\/p>\n
