I know that each born again Christian has at least one spiritual gift.<\/i> How do I know which is my gift?<\/i> I know there is a Bible study book about this subject, but being away from home I do not know how I can get it. I<\/i>\u00a0will be grateful if you post a study on spiritual gifts on this portal.<\/i>\u00a0I am most interested to know what my gift is.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"HowTo know\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>gifts you have received from the Holy Spirit to serve the Church of Christ, follow these three important steps.<\/p>\n

1.Study the Holy Scriptures<\/h2>\n

The Bible contains the whole teaching\u00a0about spiritual gifts and many examples of people who used\u00a0these gifts in the service of the Church. The Bible Study course \u201cSpiritual gifts\u201d is very profound and practical. I strongly recommend you to get\u00a0this course\u00a0as soon as possible and to study it in a group or individually.\u00a0The course is not in bookstores and you will have to contact the teachers or the students of\u00a0the International Inductive Bible Study Institute.<\/a>\u00a0You can not know the spiritual gifts that you possess if first you do not know how each gift is\u00a0shown and what function\u00a0it fulfills in the Body of Christ.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Serve in\u00a0the Gospel<\/h2>\n

Do not act like others who do not do anything all\u00a0their life in the Gospel saying that they first want to know their gift and then they will start\u00a0doing something.Let me give\u00a0you a\u00a0simple example. How can you know about someone that he may be a good sportsman, if\u00a0has never been given the opportunity and did not try to sport?\u00a0How can you learn about someone that he is a good painter if\u00a0has never\u00a0tried to paint?\u00a0When we do some things\u00a0we get to know our skills according to them.Therefore, be prepared and serve in the Gospel. Usually (but not as a\u00a0rule) you will be attracted by the\u00a0services that meet your spiritual gift or gifts.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Watch out the saints\u2019 desire<\/h2>\n

Usually, saints\u00a0notice who\u00a0fulfills\u00a0their needs the best and they will ask\u00a0the service of that certain person. Therefore, be careful what saints ask you\u00a0to do and see if these services you are asked\u00a0reveal the gifts you have received from the Holy Spirit when you were born again.<\/p>\n

Every time I\u00a0teach the \u201cSpiritual gifts\u201d course I am used\u00a0to ask the disciples if\u00a0they know someone in their midst that has that certain gift, and all indicate to the same person.\u00a0This shows that people see our gifts and\u00a0ask us to serve them according to the gift we have received.<\/p>\n

If one person or more do not like how you do a certain job, it still does not mean that you do not have that gift. And if you think you have a specific gift and\u00a0insist to serve people\u00a0even if they do not like and request it, you must ask yourself whether you really have\u00a0that spiritual gift.<\/p>\n
