When she was still a teenager she chose to enter the covenant with the Lord Jesus, but two years ago she met\u00a0an unbeliever, and agreed to marry him.<\/span>\u00a0<span>When I heard this, I went and I told her that\u00a0she broke <a href=\"https:\/\/moldovacrestina.md\/en\/the-lords-supper-is-a-judgment-1-corinthians-1127-32nasb\/\">the covenant and the consequences will come very quickly in her life,<\/a> as Scripture says.<\/span><span> She told me then that she would be happy, because\u00a0her\u00a0groom was a good man. <\/span><span>I told her that through her marriage with him she would\u00a0make him unhappy,\u00a0because the consequences of breaking the covenant\u00a0will affect their whole family.<\/span>\u00a0<span>Now, after two years,\u00a0she came and repented\u00a0choosing\u00a0to be\u00a0faithful to\u00a0God from\u00a0that moment on.<\/span> <span>She told me\u00a0that, as Scripture says,\u00a0since they had entered\u00a0their\u00a0marriage until that moment weakness\u00a0reigned in their family and all they\u00a0had tried to do didn\u2019t\u00a0work.<\/span>\u00a0<span>Moreover, she even came to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/moldovacrestina.md\/en\/the-lords-supper-is-a-judgment-1-corinthians-1127-32nasb\/\">second step<\/a>\u00a0the\u00a0Scripture says about, and she was seriously ill after the birth of the child.<\/span>\u00a0<span>When\u00a0we kneed that she might\u00a0ask forgiveness from God,\u00a0she wept a lot for\u00a0the wrong choice that she made\u00a0two years ago.<\/span>\u00a0<span>We pray now for the repentance\u00a0of her husband, but that she chose to marry, being\u00a0a Christian, was\u00a0a bad example and a great hindrance in the way of his repentance.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Study God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>The fact that there are\u00a0more girls who have chosen to marry unbelievers shows that something has not been communicated to the latter in the church, or not communicated sufficiently. <\/span><span>I urge pastors of this church to preach\u00a0a course of sermons\u00a0where to\u00a0address more\u00a0and deeper this problem, until they\u00a0will be sure that girls understand how serious is the choice to marry unbelievers.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span>I\u00a0also want to suggest you to do with\u00a0the whole church the Bible study \u201cMarriage without regrets\u201d, that will\u00a0give much light\u00a0to this and other aspects of the marriage life and thus both girls and boys will\u00a0be protected from\u00a0wrong choices.<\/span> <span>If you have not yet studied this course, we suggest you do this so as soon as possible.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p><strong>The church must apply discipline<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><span>Women who chose to marry unbelievers\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/moldovacrestina.md\/en\/you-are-responsible-to-confront-the-sin-from-the-life-od-those-who-pretend-they-are-christians\/\">should be sent out of the church<\/a>, as the Scripture says, because they broke the\u00a0holy covenant they\u00a0concluded with the Lord Jesus.<\/span> <span>I assume that this discipline is applied in your church, but if it\u00a0is not, it must be insisted on applying it, so that\u00a0all\u00a0other girls will\u00a0see and be afraid to make such a bad choice.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Do not stop\u00a0talking to your sister<\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span>Even if your sister does not want to listen now, do not stop talking to her.<\/span> <span>As she hasn\u2019t yet made this choice do not stop\u00a0talking to her.<\/span><span> If she doesn\u2019t\u00a0want to listen, you can arrange somehow that she may\u00a0see and\u00a0hear the testimony of women who have made that choice and now bear the consequences.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span>On this portal there have been published several articles on this subject.<\/span>\u00a0<span>Maybe you look for them and print all of them to give them to your sister to read, so that she may realize how\u00a0serious the consequences of this choice will be.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p><em>Translated by Felicia Rotaru<\/em><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Question: My sister\u00a0is 22 years, she serves in church but dates a nonbeliever.
