Since last year, our sons David and Daniel have asked me to make a trip\u00a0by bicycles from Chisinau to Lapusna,\u00a0my and my wife\u2019s\u00a0native village.<\/span> Because of the health problems of my\u00a0back, we could not achieve this desire last summer and considering that it has not passed\u00a0long\u00a0time after surgery, we have decided not to go by bikes this time, but to go on foot.<\/span>\u00a0We were glad that Nastica, my wife, attached to our team.<\/span> Only Tica didn\u2019t want\u00a0to go.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\"Familia<\/p>\n

We left\u00a0the house at 7 a.m.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\"Nastica<\/p>\n

The weather\u00a0was<\/span>\u00a0cool\u00a0and it was very pleasant to walk.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\"Vasile<\/p>\n

Going out of town we met with my disciple Ionel Rotaru, who was\u00a0going\u00a0by car from Lapusna to Chisinau. <\/span>This year Ionel married with Felicia Djugostran and together they make a beautiful work in the Gospel.<\/span> Ionel\u00a0trains\u00a0a Taekwon-Do group in Lapusna and Felicia teaches English, translates the\u00a0articles of this portal in English and with the Pure Generation\u00a0youth movement they go to public schools to teach Bible lessons to young people.<\/span> <\/p>\n

On\u00a0our way we met a Christian brother who was riding in a minibus and returned back to take us with him, thinking\u00a0that we needed a car.<\/span> When\u00a0we told him that we are traveling, he\u00a0was glad about it and wished us a good journey.<\/span>\u00a0Near the \u201cPrimavara\u201d<\/span>\u00a0restaurant\u00a0we met with another disciple of mine,\u00a0Alexei Tentiuc, who was with Oxana, his wife, with Adalica, their son and Mrs Catherine, the mother of Alexei.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\"Familia<\/p>\n

Thus, we agreed\u00a0that\u00a0Alexei will come the next day to take us from\u00a0Lapusna\u00a0back to Chisinau.<\/span> <\/p>\n

After dining, we decided to\u00a0have a nap\u00a0in the beautiful\u00a0forest that was on the\u00a0roadside.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Because my back began to hurt\u00a0a little\u00a0(on the 1st<\/sup> of October I had a\u00a0spine\u00a0surgery) we decided to limit\u00a0our journey to Hincesti, and from there we took a car to Lapusna.<\/span> I was glad\u00a0to see that the driver had the Bible and especially when he told me that he wished to receive baptism soon.<\/span> But I was very sad when I\u00a0found out\u00a0that he was going to vote\u00a0for the party that\u00a0had persecuted the church and faith in God.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Once we arrived at\u00a0Lapusna,\u00a0we saw a meeting with the voters in the center of the village, where\u00a0a party candidate\u00a0was telling\u00a0lies in an impudent way,\u00a0trying to manipulate the people.<\/span> I was very indignant to hear these lies and I was not the only one\u00a0experiencing this indignation.<\/span>\u00a0But, there were some who believed and even supported him.<\/span>\u00a0Maybe they had an interest \u2026<\/span> <\/p>\n

In Lapusna\u00a0my mother-in-law met us with a\u00a0good soup,\u00a0we ate and then we fell asleep after a long journey.<\/span> <\/p>\n

The next day, we went to see my sister Lidia and we talked a lot\u00a0from the Holy Scriptures about repentance and I urged her to repent.<\/span>\u00a0How great\u00a0my joy was when she\u00a0decided to enter the covenant with the Lord Jesus and\u00a0prayed for that.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\"Vasile<\/p>\n

I thank\u00a0a lot all of you who\u00a0have prayed for the salvation of my sister Lidia.<\/span> Pray that\u00a0God\u00a0will increase her in His knowledge and\u00a0make her useful and fruitful in the Gospel.<\/span> <\/p>\n

I urge you to travel on foot, as we have done.<\/span>\u00a0It is a special pleasure and rest.<\/span> <\/p>\n
