It\u2019s awful the\u00a0number of orphan children that are nowadays, most\u00a0of them having\u00a0living parents who\u00a0have gone abroad to work.<\/span> A child who learns in the same class with our son, has not yet seen\u00a0his mother and he does not know how she\u00a0looks like in reality, because after his birth she went to Italy and she has not yet come\u00a0to see him.<\/span>\u00a0These children, in my opinion, are in a worse condition than those at the orphanage, because often there is no one\u00a0to take care of them.<\/span> While talking with\u00a0my sister, she\u00a0said that at the moment there were\u00a0as many orphans as they had been after a\u00a0 war, but it was even worse, because then people\u00a0had adopted the orphans, but\u00a0at the moment\u00a0they wanted neither to adopt nor to help, but maliciously said \u201cWhat,\u00a0I am not going\u00a0to help the child of someone who\u00a0earns money abroad \u2026\u201d I have written this article for all these children without parents\u00a0to give them seven important tips that will be helpful to be able to survive in the complicated world in which we live. <\/span>I was an orphan too, so I\u00a0consider myself\u00a0a specialist in the field.<\/span>\u00a0Now however, I want to tell you the tips that come from God\u2019s Word.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n1.<\/span> <\/span>Do not lose hope<\/span> <\/h4>\n

After the death of my mother,<\/a>\u00a0I was only 9 years and I\u00a0could not see any future.<\/span> My sister Lenuta, who was 15 years old, was often\u00a0crying in pillows, I came near her and\u00a0together we could\u00a0cry for hours, because we did not see any future and\u00a0we had no hope.<\/span>\u00a0Lidia, who\u00a0was 17 years and who had all responsibility for us,\u00a0sought to encourage us to look ahead and not lose hope.<\/span> How much good it would have been for us if we had known\u00a0the profound truth\u00a0from the Bible, that says:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

Sing to God, sing praises to His name;\u00a0lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts,\u00a0whose name is the LORD, and exult before Him.\u00a0A father of the fatherless<\/strong> and a judge for the widows, is God in His holy habitation.\u00a0God makes a home for the lonely<\/strong>;\u00a0He leads out the prisoners into prosperity,\u00a0only the rebellious dwell in a parched land. (Psalm 68:4-6)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n2.<\/span> <\/span>Listen to good mentors<\/span> <\/h4>\n

All people need mentors who can help and advise them to choose the right directions in life and make right\u00a0choices.<\/span>\u00a0Moreover the orphan needs a good mentor.<\/span> Esther was born while her parents were in Babylonian slavery and\u00a0she remained orphan.<\/span> She was grown up by her relative\u00a0Mordecai and after she became\u00a0the queen, she kept the same beautiful attitude towards\u00a0her good mentor, as the Scripture says:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

Esther had not yet made known her kindred or her people, even as Mordecai had commanded her; for Esther did what Mordecai told her as she had done when under his care.(Esther 2:20)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n3.<\/span> <\/span>Beware of evil men<\/span> <\/h4>\n

Orphans, widows and strangers have always been the target of abuse\u00a0for evil ones.<\/span> Beware of the\u00a0people that\u00a0can do evil to you and pray continuously\u00a0that God may\u00a0guard you, as king\u00a0David also prayed:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

Rescue me, O LORD, from evil men;\u00a0preserve me from violent men\u00a0who devise evil things in their hearts;\u00a0they continually stir up wars.\u00a0They sharpen their tongues as a serpent;\u00a0poison of a viper is under their lips. Selah.\u00a0Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked;\u00a0preserve me from violent men\u00a0who have purposed to trip up my feet.\u00a0The proud have hidden a trap for me, and cords;\u00a0they have spread a net by the wayside;\u00a0they have set snares for me. Selah. (Psalm 140:1-5)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n4.<\/span> <\/span>Do not\u00a0go bad ways<\/span> <\/h4>\n

In the world there are bad things and places where\u00a0you\u00a0should never go.<\/span>\u00a0Therefore,\u00a0avoid places where some go to drink, to take drugs, to do immoral things or to look\u00a0pornography, as the Holy Scripture says:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

Do not enter the path of the wicked\u00a0and do not proceed in the way of evil men.\u00a0Avoid it, do not pass by it;\u00a0turn away from it and pass on. (Proverbs 4:14-15)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n5.<\/span> Avoid <\/span>bad friends<\/span> <\/h4>\n

A<\/span><\/span>\u00a0proverb says: \u201cTell me who your friend is and I will tell you who you are.\u201d <\/span>This is because friends can influence you enormously and very quickly you will begin\u00a0to think, to talk and act like them.<\/span> Therefore, stay away from anyone who wants to be your friend but is bad or does bad things.<\/span> Keep in mind the words of the Scripture which say:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

He who walks with wise men will be wise,\u00a0but the companion of fools will suffer harm.<\/span><\/span> (Proverbs 13:20)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n6. <\/span><\/span>Get ready to have a family<\/span> <\/h4>\n

More than once I got to talk to men\u00a0who were more than\u00a020 years old,\u00a0complaining that they have nothing, they are orphans and they always look to live\u00a0at other\u2019s expense. <\/span>This attitude is very bad and harmful,\u00a0it destroys the lives of these men and makes them live in disorder.<\/span> Do not be like one of them.<\/span>\u00a0It doesn\u2019t matter how old you are,\u00a0do your utmost to learn and\u00a0to work.<\/span> Develop your ability\u00a0to work, that\u00a0you may\u00a0maintain yourself and then to be able to\u00a0create\u00a0a family and to care for them.<\/span>\u00a0Do not talk too much, but seek to work, because:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

In all labor there is profit,\u00a0but mere talk leads only to poverty. (Proverbs 14:23)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n7.<\/span> <\/span>Help your brothers and sisters<\/span> <\/h4>\n

If you have brothers and sisters, do everything you can to help him. <\/span>I have written above\u00a0how\u00a0my sister\u00a0who was\u00a017 years old\u00a0assumed responsibility\u00a0to grow up\u00a0us\u00a0and made it with much sacrifice and love.<\/span> <\/p>\n

About two years ago a girl who is\u00a013 years old\u00a0began to come every Saturday and Sunday on our street.<\/span> She comes to beg\u00a0from people to be able to maintain her three younger brothers who stay at\u00a0home.<\/span> Their father died and\u00a0their mother is a drunkard\u00a0and doesn\u2019t take care of them.<\/span>\u00a0Sometimes\u00a0she can go for weeks and nobody knows where their mother is.<\/span> But the girl, who is in a worse state than the children from the orphanage, takes care\u00a0of her younger\u00a0brothers and she\u00a0goes to beg for them. <\/span>God says in the Bible:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. (1 Timothy 5:8)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And for all Christians, God says:<\/span> <\/p>\n

\n

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. (James 1:27)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Are you an orphan?<\/span> Do you know any orphan?<\/span> What do they do or what have you done\u00a0to survive?<\/span>\u00a0How can you help the orphans to survive and overcome difficulties through which they\u00a0pass?<\/span> <\/p>\n
