It is important to have the blessing of the parents to marry in all cases, but it can not be placed above the clear commandment of God to get married just\u00a0in the Lord,<\/span> that means only to Christians.<\/p>\n

Marriage was instituted by God who said:<\/p>\n

For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.\u00a0(Genesis 2:24)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No parent has the right and\u00a0can not\u00a0prohibit his child to marry.<\/p>\n

This is\u00a0the clear commandment of God which can not be\u00a0infringed and we are called to obey God more than anyone in this world, including parents.<\/p>\n

All along, we advise you not to\u00a0get married in haste or arrogance, but behave with patience and gentleness,\u00a0explaining these truths to your parents, because it is important to have their blessing for your marriage.<\/p>\n
