I\u00a0have had a perplexity and it has caused me a deep depression\u00a0for more than a year.<\/i>\u00a0What to do when you have\u00a0had friends for a long time \u2026 and when they were in trouble\u00a0you were close to them, but when I got into troubles,\u00a0they\u00a0deliberately turn their back upon me and laugh\u00a0that I have asked\u00a0for their help.<\/i> Then, maybe they\u00a0apologize that they\u00a0do so, their \u201cbeautiful\u201d behavior lasts\u00a03-4 days and then they begin it again.<\/i> Do not understand me wrong: I\u00a0am not sorry that I have helped them.<\/i> Moreover, they were doing better or worse without me.<\/i> I do not understand why they do not behave with\u00a0me as I\u00a0behave with them?<\/i>\u00a0When you ask for forgiveness a thousand times and forgive you think \u201cwho is forgiven much that one loves more\u201d but it seems that the one who asks forgiveness\u00a0thinks: \u201cYou can tell anything to this dude, turn your back upon her, sneer\u00a0at her\u00a0\u2026 because she\u00a0will\u00a0forgive you\u201d.<\/i>\u00a0Is there a connection with the verse in proverbs that says about pearls thrown before whom should not?<\/em>\u00a0Over all, in\u00a0my suffering, sometimes I\u00a0feel like boasting myself\u00a0how pious I am since I<\/em> forgive so much and I\u00a0am worried because I know that it is not good.<\/em>\u00a0I worry because of that\u00a0situation because I rotate in a vicious circle and I can not get out so that I would be able to focus and to take care of my daily important responsibilities.<\/i> How to find balance?<\/i>\u00a0When\u00a0I\u00a0mention in the beginning\u00a0\u201dfriends\u201d I consider as friends both pals, and\u00a0also the relationship of friendship between a boy and a girl.<\/i> Help me please with an advice.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"WhatA fact recognized by all<\/h2>\n

When people\u00a0forget the\u00a0done good and despise the benefactors is a reality that anyone\u00a0realizes during life, because anyone\u00a0experiences\u00a0it from others.\u00a0It is sad\u00a0that we see when others do wrong to us, but we do not see when we do so to our\u00a0benefactors. Maybe, with this opportunity, you would better ask yourself\u00a0if you have ever done so\u00a0with your benefactors, remaining far and indifferent when they were going through troubles and sufferings?<\/p>\n

Do not stop doing good<\/h2>\n

God, who is the benefactor of all people and through whom all of us\u00a0have life experiences\u00a0much contempt from people.\u00a0And He has authority and power to destroy\u00a0immediately those who are scoffers, but He continues to do good.\u00a0Therefore, the Lord Jesus teaches us in the Holy Scripture thus:<\/p>\n

But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,\u00a0so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.\u00a0For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?\u00a0If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?\u00a0Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:44-48)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When we remain to be good and do\u00a0good in kindness,\u00a0we, Christians, reflect the character of God, full of goodness.<\/p>\n

Do not put your trust in scoffers<\/h2>\n

If those whom you\u00a0call friends are used\u00a0to betray you, to despise you, to be sorry and do so again, it is clear that you can not\u00a0rely on such people. I do not think you should insist on building or maintaining these friendships because true friends are behaving differently.Make friends who act as the Holy Scripture says, namely:<\/p>\n

A friend loves at all times,\u00a0and a brother is born for adversity. (Proverbs 17:17)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Confront<\/span>\u00a0those who sin<\/h2>\n

It is true that we must forgive without limit, but to forgive does not mean not to confront the one who sins.Lord Jesus said the following:<\/p>\n

If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother.\u00a0But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED.\u00a0If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. (Matthew 18:15-17)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If someone asks forgiveness and receives it, but then despises the mercy, we can\u00a0say that\u00a0he behaves as the swines mentioned by\u00a0the Lord Jesus who trampled sacred things.In such cases, the Bible says not to throw pearls\u00a0before swines, because they trampled them and then turn back and tear you.\u00a0To forgive, but then to act wisely and to no longer give holy things to be trampled.Maybe you should not\u00a0have\u00a0illusions\u00a0about the friendship with such people.\u00a0They are not friends, because friends do not act so.<\/p>\n

How to find balance?<\/h2>\n

Look for peace and joy in the relationship with the Lord Jesus. Study the\u00a0Holy Scriptures and apply them in life. Do not\u00a0hang up to corny<\/span>\u00a0people and\u00a0do not search for their friendship that is dangerous for two reasons: they hurt you and if you continually spend too much time with them, you can become as them in a day, as the Holy Scripture says:<\/p>\n

Do not be deceived: \u201cBad company corrupts good morals.\u201d (1 Corinthians 15:33)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Search real friends and\u00a0apply the advice given\u00a0by Apostle Paul to\u00a0his beloved disciple Timothy:<\/p>\n

Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the friendship between a boy and a girl<\/h2>\n

I understand that you mean a guy that you love and expect him to\u00a0ask you to marry\u00a0him, but who behaves scornfully and\u00a0considers you\u00a0\u201da dude\u00a0who will forgive any and all\u201d.I advise you as my daughter,\u00a0if you want to be happy, I urge you to tell him today not to come\u00a0to\u00a0you anymore and\u00a0do not have any kind of friendship.This boy\u00a0doesn\u2019t love you, but as a parasite, takes advantage of you, and\u00a0wants to use\u00a0you more. Cease any relationship with him, but not before\u00a0you tell him to seek forgiveness from the Lord Jesus and a transformation of character.I know it will be hard because, I suppose, you are very much attached to him.\u00a0You have to\u00a0do it\u00a0and to stop this relationship until it has not worked in worse.<\/p>\n
