Engagement and wedding rings are different and their meaning is exactly\u00a0what we\u00a0hear and mean. When the boy sees the engagement ring on the hand of a girl, he\u00a0understands that she promised to marry<\/strong> someone else and it will be\u00a0soon. So, when\u00a0you see the wedding ring on someone hand, you know that person is part of a covenant marriage<\/strong> that she\/he must\u00a0keep with holiness. This message is the same for the person wearing the ring and for others around them.<\/p>\n
The Bible makes reference to the ring, but not about engagement or wedding ones.<\/p>\n
It is not written in the Bible on which finger the engagement or wedding\u00a0ring should be worn, or if\u00a0it is lost than\u00a0is a bad sign, or if they buy it again, it should\u00a0be blessed by the priest.<\/p>\n
