What are biometric passports?<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s\u00a0the explanation that\u00a0Cristian Presura, a researcher at Philips\u00a0who worked on such systems, gave:<\/span> <\/p>\n

The new biometric passports introduced from January 1, 2009, imply integrating into the computerized\u00a0file of the document, a computer chip containing the titular\u2019s photography, but electronically.<\/i><\/span> It is a colored photography with the size of 35mm\/45mm.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0Another identification measure is to incorporate the electronic chip, in addition to the facial image, of the\u00a0fingerprints from each hand.<\/i><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Asked what connection is between these passports and the\u00a0number 666, he said:<\/span> <\/p>\n

Normally, such information from the\u00a0chip is not related to number 666.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0Of course, this combination of\u00a0figures can appear randomly on one of the millions of the chips, as it may occur randomly on any computer where memory is stored in different parts of its.<\/i><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of Romania has decided unanimously in favor of biometric passports,<\/u> and Constantin Stoica, the speaker for the Patriarchate decided to be one of the first personthat will have\u00a0such a passport.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Number 666 will be applied during the Antichrist<\/span> period<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Book of Revelation describes more\u00a0detailed\u00a0and thoroughly the last 70\u00a0prophetic weeks described by the prophet Daniel in his book. <\/span>Then\u00a0the\u00a0Antichrist and the false prophet will work.<\/span> In chapter 13 of the book of Revelation the Antichrist is called the first Beast and the false prophet is called the second Beast.<\/span> During 3 and a half years when they two will activate on earth\u00a0their 666 number will be applied, as it is written:<\/span> <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life.\u00a0And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.\u00a0And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,\u00a0and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.\u00a0(Revelation 13:14-17)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Yet, biometric passports are a step towards the fulfillment of Revelation<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

As you saw in the passage quoted above, this number 666 will be applied somehow (possibly in the form of a microchip) on the forehead or right hand so that people can not buy or sell without having this mark.<\/span>\u00a0So, because of the presence of this number on the right hand or forehead it will be impossible for man to hide somewhere and it will greatly restrict his freedom.\u00a0<\/span>Those who will have the mark\u00a0666 will be forced to worship the Antichrist.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Now, what is the relationship between\u00a0this and the\u00a0biometric passports?<\/span> These passports are to store more and more precise information about the man, so as each person would\u00a0be easily identified.<\/span> It is true that it sounds good in a way, that it will protect us from criminals, contraband, etc.<\/span> But essentially, it\u00a0puts much greater control over the citizen of the country\u00a0into the hands of the government.<\/span> On the other hand, without realizing which way it goes, because of current threats, global terrorism, etc. governments <\/span>are forced to implement these security measures.<\/span>\u00a0And when the Antichrist\u00a0comes, all these governments of all countries will come to\u00a0be subject to him, and so the Antichrist will take control of all people.<\/span> <\/p>\n

Another reasons why I think the biometric passport\u00a0is a step towards the fulfillment of Revelation, is that people get used to\u00a0these chips, with this control that is\u00a0continuously increasing and when the great tribulation will come, when the Antichrist will come, they will accept more easily and without\u00a0any doubts\u00a0to have\u00a0on the right hand or forehead the mark of the beast, which is decoded as 666.<\/span> <\/p>\n

666 is not a threat to real Christians<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Before the coming of the great tribulation, it will take place one of the biggest events in human history \u2013 Rapture of the Church.<\/span> Paul\u2019s First Epistle to Thessalonians writes more details about it.<\/span> Then, true Christians, who have concluded a covenant with Jesus Christ, who were born again, who\u00a0had the Holy Spirit and lived in obedience to God being led by the Holy Spirit, those Christians will be raptured into heaven.<\/span> Here\u2019s how the event is described in the Bible:<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/sup>For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.\u00a0Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.\u00a0(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)(NASB)<\/span> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Proceeding from this, it becomes quite clear that there is no\u00a0danger to a true Christian to have biometric passport.<\/span> And for all others who are afraid or indifferent to the presence of this biometric chip on\u00a0the new\u00a0passport, I urge them\u00a0to seek to know God, to study\u00a0the Scriptures, to believe in Jesus Christ and repent to receive forgiveness and eternal inheritance with all the saints.<\/span> Thus, they will have share\u00a0of the Rapture of the Church and not of the great tribulation.<\/span> <\/p>\n
