The celebration of\u00a0Whitsuntide is known as a Christian holiday, held 50 days<\/span> after the Easter. It is also known as the Day of Pentecost, when the whole community of believers all around the world\u00a0<\/span>commemorates<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0descent<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Holy<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Spirit<\/span>\u00a0on<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Apostles and the birthday of the Church. The second chapter of the book of Acts gives us the description of this event. To understand better what happened that day, let us see what Lord Jesus spoke about it before His ascension into heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n He announced about the descent of the Holy Spirit<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 40 days after His resurrection, Lord Jesus was with His disciples and told them about the baptism with the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n “While he was meeting with them, he ordered them,\u00a0\u201cDon\u2019t leave Jerusalem.
