Question:<\/p>\n

My question is related to the\u00a0persons who are busy with occult practices, witchcrafts,\u00a0curses.<\/em>\u00a0I have a very close relative of my family who\u00a0does this\u00a0for several years, I think she does this of envy and greed, and my family has\u00a0found out\u00a0from several sources that many of these evils are meant for us (to prevent marriage to me, parents to have problems\u00a0at work) and I do not want to sin saying that\u00a0I believe in them,\u00a0but I simply observed that,\u00a0for some time, things do not go as usually\u00a0and that frightens me.<\/em> None in my family would go to other\u00a0wizard who \u201cunties\u201d the curse,\u00a0because\u00a0we know that<\/em> it is<\/em> a great sin, so\u00a0I want to know how to fight\u00a0exactly, besides praying and fasting.<\/em> What else should I do, also how much time can this evil last,\u00a0(years, months, days)? <\/em>Knowing that this situation lasts for about 3-4 years, sometimes I get desperate. <\/em>If my parents are not Christian and I am, how can\u00a0I stop the evil that comes to my family?<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The evil power of the\u00a0wizards is a reality<\/h2>\n

No matter if people believe, or if they don\u2019t, it is a reality that wizards work with\u00a0the power of Satan and can do much harm. That is why God says in the Bible as follows:<\/p>\n

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,\u00a0or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.\u00a0For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you.\u00a0You shall be blameless before the LORD your God. (Deuter\u043enomy 18:10-13)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There where people go away from God, these awful sins increase, and we must\u00a0admit that we have\u00a0wizards in our country, which harm a lot\u00a0of people. In my childhood I have seen many lives and families destroyed by\u00a0witchcrafts and not only once I saw\u00a0how in our\u00a0yard came a frog with a red thread tied to its legs,\u00a0or hair or horns of animals thrown by the yard, or other objects.\u00a0In the article where I tell about my mother\u2019s death<\/a> I reported more about how our family was attacked by those who were doing\u00a0Satan\u2019s will.\u00a0So\u00a0I do not\u00a0need someone to convince me about the power of wizards and\u00a0of their evil practices.<\/p>\n

Spells and\u00a0curses do not have power over the children of God<\/h2>\n

When the people of Israel were on their way to Canaan, and reached the borders of Moab, Balak, the king of Moab sent his request to call the wizard Balaam,\u00a0that he might\u00a0curse the children of Israel and\u00a0cast spells against them. Incidentally, it is known that Hitler and the Nazis resorted to such\u00a0wizards in triggering the diabolical plans that they had. God told Balaam not to go with the messengers and he didn\u2019t go the\u00a0first time, but then, being asked again and being promised wealth, Balaam\u00a0insisted and God let him go, to his shame and misfortune. Arrived in Moab, he tried\u00a0to curse\u00a0Israel three times, but three times\u00a0God made him to bless them.\u00a0All details are written in chapters 22-24 of the book of Numbers. At the first attempt to curse Israel, Balaam said:<\/p>\n

How shall I curse whom God has not cursed?\u00a0And how can I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced? (Numbers 23:8)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On the second attempt to curse,\u00a0God put these words in Balaam\u00a0mouth:<\/p>\n

For there is no omen against Jacob,\u00a0nor is there any divination against Israel;\u00a0at the proper time it shall be said to Jacob\u00a0and to Israel, what God has done! (Numbers 23:23)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Anyone who has entered\u00a0a covenant with God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and new birth became the child of God, as written in the Gospel of John:<\/p>\n

He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.\u00a0But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,\u00a0who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. (Gospel\u00a0of John 1:11-13)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Because we are children of God, we are blessed by God.\u00a0He does not curse us and does not allow anyone to\u00a0curse us. Maybe\u00a0your \u201cwedding has been tied up\u201d, i.e\u00a0someone cast spells that you can not marry. You should know that those spells could have effect on you until the moment when you entered the covenant\u00a0with the Lord Jesus.\u00a0Now, they have no power because you are blessed by God. And if you have not married yet, this is for your own good, as God says:<\/p>\n

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How long does the harm caused by wizards last?<\/h2>\n

Much. The Scripture says that it lasts until comes the freedom\u00a0that only God can give.\u00a0When people possessed by evil spirits were brought to the Lord Jesus, those\u00a0evil spirits\u00a0or devils, never wanted\u00a0to leave the man and\u00a0only the commandment of Jesus made them to leave that person alone. So it is with curses, that are\u00a0devilish deeds involving the\u00a0devil\u2019s power.\u00a0They last until the man comes to seek release from the Lord Jesus, and only the Savior can give a full release.<\/p>\n

How to help those who are under the curses of\u00a0wizards?<\/h2>\n

When Apostle Paul told the king\u00a0Agrippa about\u00a0the meeting he had with the Lord Jesus and how he returned to God, he said that Lord Jesus said this:<\/p>\n

\u201cRescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you,\u00a0to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.\u201d (Acts 26:17-18)(NASB)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Everyone who is under\u00a0the curses of wizards are also under the power of Satan. To\u00a0get free of this power,\u00a0one must first open the eyes of his mind and heart and seek to know and understand the message of the Gospel\u00a0of Jesus Christ as written on the pages of Holy Scriptures.\u00a0Then, once\u00a0he understands how\u00a0he can\u00a0get free, he must make a choice to turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God. So, he will receive,\u00a0by faith in the Lord Jesus, the forgiveness of sins and inheritance with those who are sanctified. This is repentance.\u00a0This happens when a person is born again. There is no other alternative or another way for people to get rid of the curses they are under.\u00a0Those who go to other wizard, which promise to release the curse, they simply aggravate the condition and\u00a0go from bad to worse.\u00a0We can talk to relatives and urge them to receive the message of the Gospel, but the choice is theirs.<\/p>\n

Several years ago I found out about a relative who\u00a0was casting all sorts of\u00a0spells. As soon as I found out I went to face her with\u00a0the truth of the Holy Scriptures. And what do you think?\u00a0She\u00a0told\u00a0me\u00a0that\u00a0she did\u00a0nothing wrong, that\u00a0she\u00a0could take care of her family in that way, etc. I warned her and I told her that there were\u00a0serious consequences for her and for the whole family.\u00a0I do not want to give details on the consequences\u00a0they had, but\u00a0they are very, very serious and all have\u00a0became very wretch. And I told them\u00a0about\u00a0returning to the Lord Jesus Christ with all\u00a0their heart and they\u00a0ignored it.\u00a0Actually, it is not late now, only if they wanted\u00a0to understand and turn from dark to light and from the power of Satan to God.<\/p>\n

What will you do?\u00a0If you are under the curse of the wizards, run to the Lord Jesus, make a covenant with Him, give Him your whole life and the Savior\u00a0will set you\u00a0free and will fill you with\u00a0peace, joy and happiness that only He can give. Tell your relatives who\u00a0are under these curses not to remain in darkness,\u00a0but to turn to the Lord Jesus,\u00a0who is Light the world.<\/p>\n
